I really hope KZbin's dubbing feature evolves to include options for changing the voice, pitch, and narration style. There are so many videos with interesting content, but they can be so hard to listen to! Some creators talk non-stop at a rapid pace, which is exhausting, while others speak so slowly it feels like their batteries ran out years ago. And don't get me started on those who say "um" every second-it’s incredibly distracting. My idea is to give viewers the ability to enjoy the content while making it easy and pleasant to listen to, no matter the original delivery style. 😁😊

I had some video with that auto translate feature on youtube, and I didn't find how to desactivate it, on one video it didn't have the option to desactivate it so I close without watching (original was probably in english as that was the only main language not in the list). There's no possibility to always desactivate the auto translation, it's the same with video titles (my yt is set in French, but I prefer to watch english video in english, and having the title in english too), so it can be a game of luck when clicking a video : will it be original voice or weird sounding auto translation ? Hope they'll give the possibility to choose that option to not having anything translated (like with the autosubtitle), it's a bit annoying for now, some people like using different language :) (but the tech is great)

Request to whomever: Apps, like advanced GPT voice, or Microsoft copilot in windows - They need to be voice activated, like Siri is on iPhone. And while they wait listening to be activated, they don’t use up your limited time per day. The most important thing about quantum computing as to read out the right information from the super positions, which is impossible right now and in near future, as we did not make any progress int this regard for the last 70 years or so. Just look into that topic. Quantum theory and super positions and you will understand how far away we are from solving it.

Mistral vision is decent, but far from perfect. It was confident in its ability to analyze schematics, so I uploaded a block diagram of a piece of test equipment and it hallucinated a lot of things that weren't present and overlooked others. It consequently had difficulty understanding the functionality of the device. I haven't yet found an LLM that does exceptionally well with schematics, particularly more complex ones. For "normal" images like photos, it did much better, comprehending detail and intent (facial expressions, backstory, etc.). It also understood famous fictional characters taken far out of context.

Спасибо, Мэтт!)) а про ютуб аудио-даббинг - забавно на самом деле) давно уже есть (пару лет наверное) например внутри яндекс браузера встроенный перевод ютуб видео, и это было "революционно" чтоли, только вот всё равно я почему то смотрю оригинал на англ. скорее всего из-за проприетарности того браузера и отсутствия доверия к нему, как и его прожорливости ресурсов и метаданных... то есть, Ютуб явно давно работает над этой фичей и оттачивает её - хотелось бы верить. но будет очень смешно если они сделают то же самое что и яндекс в своё время. скорее всего. потому что главная проблема этой функции - разность скорости произношения и длинны слов с одним и тем же смыслом но на разных языках. это просто особенность человека) как они её решат. скорее всего никак) все будем чувствовать себя как "американец впервые в австралии")
