Prompt it as single speaker. You can have a character sheet to reference and audio file to reference. You need to mess around it. It can do so much more

But I don’t think you need to split the audio. The space should be there once you move the second speaker to the point when they first talk.

What I would also say is whatever audio editing software you use you’d need to zoom in on the audio wave form and move the second speaker with precision in order to ensure they sync up accurately.

PS.. you can put the audio file back into a NEW Notebook and have it do the transcript then ask it to break out the transcript it gives you into the Host 1 and 2 parts.. just DOwn load the audio file and open a NEW Notebook..also asking it to just give you the host 1 text and host 2 text also can be all done in that second Notebook document... I bet it can all be done in the original document.. but I haven't tried that yet. I might mention that it is easier to just ask ChatGPT to rewrite the script to be a POV style YT VO .. and then use Fliki or Invideo or something to make the video.

You can use the voices as is. But as the tool gets used more, people will start to identify the voices as AI immediately. Think of it like what happened to Adam’s voice from elevenlabs. It became overused and now there are people who can’t stand it.

Why would we go through all that trouble of transcribing, then getting new voices for each script, then editing to make sure voices are lined up.. when notebook LM already gives you the full podcast with the voices already conversing with one another? So I don't get it, why go through all that if you already get the full audio file with Notebook LM.
