One beautiful thing I just noticed is that when Riki went to Guy for comfort, Guy beat the crap out of him because he was a Pet and not perfect. But after Riki was castrated and he went after Iason and Guy, it was Iason who hugged him. He was comforting Riki and letting him know that he still wanted and loved him even though Riki himself believed he wouldn't.

I love Ai no Kubasi. I wish they never had to die. Those two lovers would still be alive if GUY (GAI) hadn't done something dum & idiotic. He just had to blow up the building. He's the blame for everything. Its his fault they both died *sigh* im so pissed. Cute video btw.

I don't like Guy either. I think he loved the IDEA of Riki, not Riki himself. His monologues are pretty obvious of that. He wanted Riki to proud and perfect, but in the end it was Iason who accepted Riki for both his beautiful traits and his flaws. Even castrated he still wanted Riki in his life without question.

I am reading the books to this. And Iason is really ...not such a nice person. I'm sorry for Guy. He is actually a calm, gentle and understanding person that adores Riki and would do anything for him. But after he knew that Riki was being mistreated as a pet...he kind of lost it and got insanely angry. Guy couldn't know there was some twisted love between Iason and Riki. He just saw Riki being abused/ held captive.

And that's when he decides to castrate Riki? Also, he did beat the shit out of Riki when they broke up, earlier... not saying Guy didn't love him, but he certainly had a funny way of showing it XD

I think Guy loved the IDEA of Riki, not Riki himself. Guy beat the crap out of him when he was in some serious need of a shoulder to cry on and threw him out which only increased Riki's sense of alienation from his own past and feeling lost. Guy kept going on and on about the prideful Riki, but when Riki needed him to be comforting and kind he screwed him over big time. It's also clear Riki did not agree to getting castrated. Iason did a lot for Riki. He kept him from being killed originally, but he also kept him from being: mind wiped, interrogated by the other Blondies, and being sent to a whore house. He was risking getting his own mind wiped by Jupiter to do it. Maybe some personality alterations too to make sure he never became obsessed again.

​​​​​​@@ItsD49I'm not a fan of Iason even after reading the novels. In spite of doing a lot for Riki, it still doesn't change the fact that he was pretty fucking terrible to him. Personally, neither Guy nor Iason deserve Riki. It's quite funny how people would hold Guy accountable for all of his fuck-ups, but when it comes to Iason, it's brushed aside all because well....reasons.
