Where the heck is the Yang Gang? Andrew is still putting out content consistently and having genuine conversations with interesting people. Where are the views?! Did we forget how exciting it was when Andrew Yang was running?! He’s still willing to learn and constantly improve.

Probably put off by some of the things he's said, his fawning over "moderates", his lost vigor over the fight for UBI and almost nonexistent policy platform for the Forward Party. Last week, he was praising Joe Lieberman in a tweet. You know the war mongering democrat that blocked health care. Stuff like that really turns off people.

Supporting felt relevant and important during election times. It felt like we could achieve something and influence at least the public debate (and since the corona checks were simply handed to the people, we might actually have). What is the point of supporting a non existent campaign?

i just got done with a year long break from it. i was exhausted from going full throttle in the years following yang's loss and watching nothing get done afterwards. refreshed and ready to rock for the next election and whatever. he needs to keep pressing his original campaign tho. UBI is still the silver bullet to solve most stuff. but now i've picked up a new policy on my own time. anti car dependency. america being built for only cars as the viable option for getting around is a huge part of what's killing the country. so if he could pick that up too, that'd be awesome. 2 silver bullets

Always a great episode when Zach is on! I'll have to say, I always enjoy Andrew a bit looser and with an edge whenever Zach is on. Reminds me more of the campaign times. He's a lot more more polite and careful speaking with all the other regular guests and it's a noticeably different vibe. Either way, I appreciate the work both of ya'll and the team keep doing!

The massive corporate buying of homes is a major reason starter home prices are high.

Areas bar houses under 18000 - 24000 sq. ft. Starter homes were once 12000 -15000 sq. ft. Builders build to the top 25% of the new house market. They don't build the just above code small house. Those don't have a high enough profit margin. The average English (in UK) home is 818 sq. ft.

The “hotelification” of real estate has made the purchase homes a big target for the wealthy and businesses. I know legislation has been passed to enforce some much needed regulations adding costs to AirBnB homes and this will make it less attractive for a large % of middle class folks reaching for the real estate dream. I have owned and sold 2 homes and it is harder for me to find a home now for me and my two kids than it was when I was trying to buy my first home.

James Li have this interesting take concerning housing. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pHLcfJ2Qec9na80si=Genvc7p5UO8OfITA Corporate Social Responsibility CSR is what separates crony capitalism and human centered capitalism. I believe capitalism can be salvaged. Supply side capitalism is what makes US miserable. Demand side economics corrects many of the things that make US miserable. Supply side creates a symbiotic relationship between government and corporations only. Demand side includes the people in this relationship. The people, corporations and government are 3 equal parts in the economy in this trickle UP economics. UBI is the path to Demand Side economics! Let's try this first before we start abolishing systems, introducing conflicts and attrition...

I don't think Dean was ever gonna be it. This was the first I heard that he dropped out. Would've thought if they were gonna report anything, it'd be that. But yeah as I said, I never thought he said a shot. I would've appreciated if those efforts, and the money, had gone towards supporting a candidate with more name recognition, that could've had an actual shot of winning.. On Joe, yeah he should drop out (he should've done so months ago so we could have a proper election) and I think it's already very obvious that he's gonna lose. He could cure cancer and legalize weed tomorrow, and I still think he'd lose to Trump in November. Because, yes, indeed, it IS the economy, stupid. None of these candidates are talking about any sort of economic plan to help the nearly 40 million Americans (according to census data) who are currently living in poverty. Sometimes they'll mention the need to strengthen or rebuild the middle class, is about the most you can hope to hear.. I was especially interested in Yang because of UBI. I was really hoping for another UBI candidate, if not Yang again, as I believe he's built up a decent bit of name recognition since the last election.. but could surely pick anyone who has as much if not more name recognition than Trump had when he first ran. Who else has Comedy Central roasted, that may be convinced to support the idea of a UBI? That's the type of candidate I'd like to vote for. Even more so if they're also on board with the other voting reform ideas and nonpartisan primaries supported by Forward.. But, like the guy Yang was talking about, I've always thought that's how the majority of Americans think. It always goes back to 'It's the economy, stupid'. Yes, all of these other issues are important too. But they are indeed *OTHER* issues. THE issue that's of biggest concern to voters overwhelmingly is and always has been the economy. 'Who can I vote for to improve my financial situation?'
