AI masks are a really nice feature. However it seems a little optimistic for C1 to call their implementation „the most advanced“. In my personal non scientific tests Lightroom did a better job with images C1 had issues with.

@@sebastianreiprich3747 yeah? I’ve not tried Lr very recently but found the AI masking on it to be very solid as well, no doubt. C1 has done what i feel is amazing on masking for about 98% of the shots I’ve tried it on. But as they say, “your mileage may vary” !

@ I specifically have 2 photos in mind that I took recently. Most of the time I don‘t need extensive masking, but since I wanted to print these I felt like tweaking them a little bit more. One of them was a photo of me me and my colleague at work. I wanted to use the subject mask to just brighten us up a little bit. In C1 a realatively big amount of the background between our heads and legs got selected as well. Not a big deal of course. It‘s quite easy to remove those parts and I was still faster than with a completely manual selection. However in Lightroom Mobile on my phone it only took one click to get a perfect selection. The same with a photo of my daughter in front of an out of focus christmas tree. C1 selected quite a lot of the bokeh in the background - LR handled it much better. Maybe I just had bad luck with these examples.

@@sebastianreiprich3747 On the "plus" side, it's at least indicative of Adobe and C1 using different AI brains! But yes, I've def had C1 fail on some masks, and as you said, pretty easy fixes but still. I'll test on Lr this week, just out of curiosity. Maybe do a side by side comparison video.
