I would extend the duration of each image by at least 4 seconds. Additionally, I recommend that you use a much better VO in your future videos! Good luck

Well I would definitely strongly recommend to NOT extend the duration with another 4 seconds... And here is why; The most important thing that makes all your videos go viral (on Shorts, TikTok, Instagram, literally every other platform) is the retention rate (how much of the video people have watched on average). If you are going to show your images that long people will get bored and click away. Before making this video I measured 5 of the most viral videos I found that are following this method and they all show the images between 2 and 3 seconds. And I would recommend to go to the lower part (so 2 seconds) because then people have just enough time to watch the image and get intrigued, but they don't see everything. The result is that they are going to watch the video again which would give you a retention rate of even more than 100% for that particular viewer. Which is a super powerful indicator for every algorithm to push your video. Now, if you really want to make the videos longer; show the images 3 seconds and just add a few more, so 6 for instance instead of 4. And thank you for the feedback about the voice-over. I'm definitely looking for a better one! But, I do also think this ones adds a bit of character to my channel. However, I'm curious to know if you are a native english speaker?

To succeed with KZbin you have to take so many things into account... - The niche you are going to make videos for. - Your CTR (click through rate) --> therefor you need to know how to make good thumbnails and how to write catchy titles. - How to make an extremely good intro to your video so the people stay after they clicked on it. - (especially for faceless channels) the tone of voice / branding of your videos. - How the KZbin algorithm works. - And so much more... I actually got a comment a couple of days ago by someone who looked at my website and said that the course was overpriced because it was text based and there was probably not going to be enough information (Keep in mind that person had not bought the course. So he or she has never seen what's inside). That's why I decided to actually see how much information someone is getting. And the course consists of over more than 100 pages of valuable information about how to succeed with KZbin, on top of that there are assignments, helpful images you want to assess and even a little over 1 hour of video tutorials. So, yeah, a lot more 😅

That's definitely a fun project to work on. This channel will only succeed if you are a great story teller. So I would definitely go with a very high quality voice-over. Either ElevenLabs or one of Fliki's premium voices. Regarding the animations, maybe you could look at AI generated images and try Pikalabs or Runway to animate them. However I don't really have a lot of experience with those programs yet.

@@miumiuchills Well, if you want to compete on KZbin you will always have to pick a so called "sub" niche. For instance; you could say I'm in the AI niche, however I'm teaching mostly methods to make money online with AI. And I'm actually only doing this focused on AI generated video content. So my niche will probably be something like; how to create and make money with AI generated content. I would say that even just "bizarre history events" is still a bit broad. But to get back to your question. A faceless history channel is definitely something that can compete. But (and I haven't done my research, however this is just my gut feeling) I think that there are already a lot of history channels. So the quality they put out will probably also be very high. So you really have to see how you are going to compete. When I'm picking niches I always focus on two things; 1. are there channels with less than 50.000 to 100.000 subscribers that have videos with over 100.000 views and are less than a year old. 2. can I make 20% better content. If the answer on both is yes, there is a real chance of creating a channel that can succeed.

Yes, exactly what @FactologyFinder says. On general you will always get 1 to 2K views on your short. This is KZbin "testing" your short to see if viewers like it. When it doesn't get any more views than that it is probably because the retention is too low...

I think you watched my video about how to make 300 shorts in 30 minutes. Just like 1.7 million other people. And a lot of other KZbinrs copied my video so there are definitely millions of people that know this method and probably thousands that have tried it. So I think that KZbin is extremely saturated with this kind of content now... Therefor it is nowadays extremely hard to get views on this type of content. I actually see a lot of channels get shadowbanned because they are making this type of content. Sadly, I would try to look at another strategy... And what this should be all depends on your goals. Do you just like to make content or do you really want to make money with your content?
