I remember channel 1 being a thing for high-school. I don't know why or how, but the tv's in the rooms would play news reports from channel 1.

Just like years ago when it became a rule that any political campaign ad whose producers/creators had any direct collaboration with the candidate had to have the candidate state, "I'm so-and-so, and I approve this message", I believe similar should be mandated within 'AI news' feeds and such. Like, a watermark indicating "AI Persona", a clickable link to the human authors page on the production entity's main site, a link/links of citations of reference.

Well I kinda feel like news people have become obsolete. When I was a kid the news was still pretty reputable. When they delivered a story it was done emotionless. I'd be like my goodness 25 people got killed choking on a chicken bone. News people expression wouldn't change they'd keep it together. The news would just be delivered. So the more I think about it ai replacing people makes sense in news. Today it's opinion pieces and influencing how you think. So I'm okay with that going. The issue as you mentioned is changing the perception and appearance of the avatar to black. White folks try to get me to think like them already. Now they can pretend to be robots and trick me. Now I'm confused, lol

I want to see news and what we do with it change- none of that has to do with AI. First off, I would be labeled as a conspiracy theorist just for daring to even analyze a story vs just take it in as fact because there is no way the experts could be wrong or misleading me. 😅 Anyway, I have alot of criticism about how we handle content just within my peer group of indy researchers. Problem #1: We have too much info. This is all largely an unhealthy addiction to consume news because it's put out to manipulate perceptions based on who paid to promote such and such. In contrast, I still watch CBS Sunday Morning because it's goalies to make you feel OK about humanity and that you're apart of a culture invited to go out and try something that interested you from the show. My goal is to better tie in the online with the offline and ro be apart of real human community. I would be more interested in someone putting tog ther a local place for meeting that has a TV studio and is a community management center. Every neighborhood should have one like a library or the old public access studio. We should run our own world more and more. An AI that helps me with auto repair and real life stuff would be cool. The more we're not all consuming the same negative stories and all talking about whatever fake story is going on today, the better. I wish we could have more of the world from TV's past where we saw less stuff and felt more on the same page but I think the future will. E about everyone having AI cater to their p.o.v. so we will live in the same reality less and less I'm afraid. If we do have a viable center, we' ll have to co-create it.
