The lore tidbits in this series are phenomenal. The understanding of the difference between the darkness within man and the abyss is explained perfectly. Not to mention the metaphorical explanation of it when Joe first arrives in the chasm is phenomenal as well.

Because of you I played and beat Dark Souls 1. I hated most of it. Think I used the washing pole for Kalameet. I tried 2 but that was even worse. Feel free to skip 2 if you want lol. Though I hear the non enhanced version has less enemy spam.

Comment question: I personally like to think of Sif as a female not out of any in-game evidence but because my puppy is part-wolf and I've always loved thinking her as the Sif to my Artorias.

(Tangent warning) I've enjoyed the playthrough but to me and this has nothing to do with the channel just the game. I don't exactly like the storytelling style used in the game, what I mean is that it feels like a lot of story elements have to be inferred instead of shown and big parts of lore seem to come from gaining an item alone or being theories people take from the evidence that could or could not be true, but sure there's some lore that comes from npc dialogue but that's how i see it. and no, I think having items having bits of lore is fine, just having the items be the only details of backstory and worldbuilding you get just feels a bit lackluster to me, and I have no problems with theories, every community has them. (FNAF tangent) Sorry I'm just gonna add this part since I feel as if at least one person will bring a game like FNAF up to counteract my opinion, though even if no one does, the old mysteries FNAF cling to like a basic timeline for people to make theories about especially things that people still don't know despite being on around FNAF 13....I've lost count actually but that aspect doesn't really make it better to me. (End of tangent) Maybe by the finale my feelings might change, or they may not but whatever it is, I wish the channel good luck for their Dark Souls finale. Also sorry about the long tangents. Oh, and for the Sif gender question, I believe Sif could be a female, at first, I leaned more on male but all in all it probably doesn't matter much either way, I guess.

For me? Female. Love Sif Also, my first time taking out Kalameet was really enjoyable. Took awhile but did it with the wanderers outfit and a bastard sword with no shield. I practiced like crazy all game to never use a shield, parry barehanded, and dodge rolls
