1:31 That's not fully true. There is one exception: Tide Armor Trim; you get it by killing an elder guardian (not guaranteed but there's a chance). And also shipwrecks have the highest chance to have armor trim inside a chest. When exploring I get 2 armor trims from about 80% of shipwrecks I find and if you find a big ocean you can easily find shipwrecks there
