If a teacher can be replaced by software, then they should be.

There are tasks that can be automated or used to support the teacher, but we will always need the actual human teachers for effective whole child learning and support. The quality of learning from software can only go so far.

Education is not only about gaining knowledge, learning of facts but the training of the mind to think. Knowledge can be obtained from anywhere but a trainer is necessary for training. Until we create such a robot that can prepare us for life physically, socially, emotionally, mentally, intellectually

I believe there will be significant changes over the next 5-7 years in education because of AI for sure. But if we are looking for a quality education for the whole child, I believe teachers cannot be replaced. There will be tasks that AI can help teachers with but cannot fully replace the much needed aspects a human teacher can provide.
