I have been using ChatGPT for several weeks. I have the new paid version, which has been very assistive in developing writing, researching, and helping me with my weaknesses (usually description). I think I will try someting more in a future project, but I am editing a novel at this time and it has provided me with some great ideas.

Great talk! I’m a writer and am learning to use AI as an assistant while also figuring out how we can deal with potential threats it may pose to our livelihood. So far I’m loving it as a tool!

So anything original you input into these AI tools becomes public property and can be leveraged at will elsewhere. That seems like a bit of IP bleed especially if you have not published your work yet. I am very wary of inputting even parts of my writing for grammar checks since this then is sucked up by the AI tool. Thoughts?

I faced a hard stop on my book, since I had no book cover and no artwork, now with a.i. at my side Bearman Vs. the Nazis will soon destroy the world! Beware!! (I can draw and write, but I can't do both, now with ai I can do both faster, I just need to meet it halfway.)

I thought it was a cool idea to have the character read the book! Why is the guy on the right being such a Negative Nelson? Dude...different strokes for different folks, don't be so judgey. IDK who you are, but that came off condescending and pretentious. Continued watching and wow....super pretentious throughout the whole video! ....direct quote here, "Which is great, but I guess for me I just like the whole creative process" as if the guy on the left isn't being creative? It's his story, his ideas, his driving of the AI, he's the creative director. I heard the guy on the left mention ADHD (I thought), as a fellow ADHD writer, who has been struggling since the pandemic hit, to get back into the flow after writing 30 successful novels in under 5 years, I've recently started using AI, just to help where I'm struggling. Does it mean I'm not overflowing with creative ideas? Does it mean I'm not actually performing the whole creative process? Absolutely not! I'm just struggling to keep the train on the tracks these days. The pretentiousness is astounding to me. (Which is great, but I guess, for me, I just like the whole non-judgemental approach to being a human.) To the dude on the left, I'm not even done watching this video, but I appreciate your ideas thus far. I'll keep watching the video to hear what you have to say and have already bookmarked a couple of the websites you've referenced. Thanks!
