I'm not sure if you guys are familiar with Siril as an astro processing tool but after you finish your pre-processing before you stack in the plot table you get to view a graph of all your subs by full width half maximum to which you can select and delete any subs over a certain star size

A Blink exterminator is a great idea. AI tools with some selective controls are the way forward.free is best ,paid for is Ok .Subscriptiion is a non starter😊
