Nate sounded really in over his head on this episode. If he's going to advocate for de-escalation and have these types of conversations, I hope he can brush up on his talking points in the future. Also, when he started taking pokes with the Trump NFTs, letting the mask slip a bit, I almost thought I was watching a Vaush debate.

Wow, Joshua was sounding passive aggressive and dismissive from the start. Also what a master-class in strawmanning by Joshua. I feel like there is just this assumption about China being bad bad bad and an implicit othering of a whole country by a lot of people recently. It’s really depressing.

Ivanka Trump is retweeting Situational Awareness and this guy doesn't even know who Leopold Aschenbrenner is. That alone explains why Joshua thinks Trump is some genius and is thinking "multiple steps ahead". Completely unserious person that has no business discussing anything to do with AI.

20:22 was the first time anyone interrupted anyone, and it's not the host. The host was pretty gracious with the obnoxious guest and all his defensiveness and conversation distraction. This guest did not present himself well and made an embarrassment out of himself and his side. The host was making great points 22:55 he interrupted him again... Haven't seen the host interrupt him yet.

@@belugaflying well, when there's such a gap both in IQ and experience - the guy should rather do an interview and not a debate Rather listen to the man who can tell a lot about policy making, about technology and national security, but when all you can say is "orange man bad"...
