In addition to suströmming, there is another horrible thing that almost nobody talks about it at all appetizing, the Hákarl. Something out of Icelandic cuisine, made from the meat of a type of shark, which is toxic and lethal to consume its meat if it does not go through a fermentation process, but still has a strong smell of ammonia after the fermentation.
