I love this viewpoint Jason. I’m not sure we are as close as people think. I was afraid for a while there when stock sites like motion array, Envato, etc we’re going to steal jobs of creative digital designers like me, but it just became a tool to use that helps more than hinders. I know it’s different with AI, but I feel it will be like that. Another example is the discovery of viagra was meant for one thing and then used for another (odd example I know). I think AI will be similar in that way but for thousands of applications. I am excited to see where it goes.

100%. Totally agree! itll definitely be more of a tool than a "robot human" that physically takes jobs. Its that tool tho that I think will close the gap over time (not right away) as the creative process becomes more efficient. Brands and companies will still need to hire creatives, but probably less for the middle stuff. Most likely they'll need storytellers, tastemakers, consultants, strategists, visionaries, idea people, thinkers. And those people will either make things themselves efficiently with AI OR hire the other end of the spectrum-- the super technical experts, innovators, developers, niche artists, specialists that AI can't keep up to. Not all encompassing, and itll def take time.

AI can be fearful......but still technology can be an advantage to some. On my part, I'm going to take this as a challenge to hone my skills and get competitive even with what an AI can do. Right now I use AI as like using Google image search to explore ideas and concepts. I do get that some might use AI to steal or forge other arts but they have been doing that ever since Photoshop has been made. My point is, technology can be bad depends on who or how it is being use.
