add a hidden dream world that you can enter only on full moon nights when you eat or drink a very specific food or potion. While in the dream World you get attacked by Enemys that constantly get stronger and more appear. You gain some XP from doing it and once you fail, you simply wake up. It would be a nice way to get some XP fast if you keep a keen Eye out and know what to do. :D Also you could add Waves to it so People can later say something like: "I beat Wave 5 of the Dream World Event." Or "I beat Wave 17 of the Dream World Event" That way you can even see your improvements and share it with your friends. If your Game ever becomes big maybe there will be Guides on how to beat each Wave and get more XP. (im sorry im overthinking this. Im just really amazed by your Project and love following the Process)

This is an amazing game. It sparks creativity. Ideas: Love the witch hats, could we decorate them with items we find. Like herbs, flowers, feathers, sticks etc. Will you be able to pet and pick up your pets?

To make the cats / pets useful in-combat, you could give the player various spells that can be cast onto your pet that last for a small period of time that transform them into various elemental types (similar to an Eevee in Pokémon) or make you able to create special elemental pet biscuits that you can feed to pets to change their forms.

I already suggested it in the previous video, but I'll put it under this one too: Maybe add different "tribes" that use mana differently? For example, witches - elemental magic, like the magical wind that makes the broom fly, or the spell that summons the rain cloud you were talking about. Others may be elves with the ability to accelerate plant growth and healing people (magic of nature?) or demons with the power of destruction (they could live near witches and from them they would learn a spell that allows you to destroy previously placed objects). And the player would wander between different tribes to learn their ways of using magic. Traveling would involve the risk of being attacked by hostile creatures, but I guess the ability to use new spells would be worth it.

Please add a crow pet you can transform into. Unlike the cat which you could use for combat or exploration, you can use the crow as a means of travel. Maybe, unlike flying, it can cost less mana when flying at a higher altitude, or just overall cost less mana to fly. Or it could be like a support character when in combat. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

i think that would be better if it was tied to your level and you unlock it at max level. If you could just urn into a crow right away then the brooms would be useless. It would make each maybe 20 levels amazing because there would be a new pet with a unique ability that lets you explore new things

Maybe add a mechanic where if you feed your cat a fish it gets a buff to help you in combat. One of my favorite really old PC games is Fate The Traitor Soul, where if you feed your pet it transforms into stronger creatures based on the fish. Like a Cerberus or nightmare horse.

Why not implement dodge in combat and make it a cool void-warp effect that consumes stamina or magic.

For later balancing issues farming shouldn't give you too much mana because you could just stay in your base and just farm and nothing else since farming gives you access to potions, mana, and maybe food. You should farm a bit but depending on how much mana things cost later on farming could become too OP and make it so players don't explore/fight enemies for cool items or mana.

A portable house with possibly a cauldron, bed, and chest. (of course, it might need stairs and an elevated platform due to the grid system, and a check that prevents it from spawning if it's on the side of a cliff or if the front door can't be accessible, including if the stairs can't find a surface to dig into from the bottom of the steps) Because traveling a long distance and time back just to store extra items or create a potion after getting close to a desired area might be cumbersome. Plus, it might make a good starter/temporary home, or if one doesn't want a base made and wants to travel around like a nomad. Maybe add a place that the pet cat/familiar can rest in?

In terms of things to add, first off merging! So many magic games are lacking in the ability to have unique builds and actually merge spells, like having a compress water, and then using a seperate spell to heat it up into a steam burst with tons of knockback. In terms of coding its adding 3 spells (sorry AIA) but the simple ability to get creative and the joy people get from accidently discovering something they can use is unmatched. Dragons are gonna be a common one, but id actually go the less game breaking route, and have them be related to the building system, like having a little hatchery you can build for your dragons and maybe they are just like... little, they just scavenge for bits of gold and passively get it to you slowly. (bonus points if we can breed the dragons for different colors, but i do understand all of that is a big ask) and third just animals in general, with the farming having unique magic animals that maybe eat the crops and prodouce even more mana, but they take longer and require extra water.

maybe make the broom momentum based. As you fly down on the broom you build up momentum then as you fly up due to air pressure the broom slows down and if you hit something like a rock of a tree you will lose momentum. also, maybe as the character goes higher at the character could lose stamina as there is less air the higher you go up if you lose stamina, you fall off the broom and can build up stamina as they fall down and if you already touch the ground your stamina will be full again but in air if your stamina is full you can get out the broom again and save yourself from fall damage.

Some (Okay) suggestions for the game: 1. The destruction spell could be called "ruintion". Yes I did look up synonym's for destruction. (Pronounced ruin ti on not ruin shun) 2. The rain spell could be called "Vaporio" If that makes any sense. (I get it it sounds like vaporeon...) 3. Add dialogue for npcs. Your probably gonna do this but just saying. 4. Add enemies with ranged attacks that you would dodge. (See next suggestion) 5. Add a mechanic to dodge that would use up mana. (Maybe like shift) 4 and 5 could implement mechanics to a boss. (You could also add a little warning area to show where attacks would hit) 6. Add a spell to burn enemies called "flamencio" 7. Add light sources (Torches, lamps, lanterns, etc) 8. Add Caves (Might be hard cus of landscapes) with minerals used to craft potions. (Maybe to make wands too?) 9. Add a close range spell like a slash or a shockwave that could stun. 10. Add battle music? (Would be pretty poggers...) Hope you see this (Ik I'm late to this video I found out about this by watching your competition against polymars)

Been following the game and your channel for a bit now. The game looks amazing! I do have some questions/suggestions: How will the cosmetics realm look? Will there be outfit shops? This game has such personality and opportunity for self-expression, but I do understand that modeling outfits and making them animate right can be a struggle. Will there be a town, or village, or city? A place where one knows where shops are and can easily acquire items at a price?

Funny random spell: A spell that causes a tail to spawn on others. This tail can act like its own mob and pull others along with it. It then naturally disappears after a certain amount of time. You can also implement it as a body part growing spell to have even more options like growing wings on others that lift them into the air involuntarily and indefintely.

*NPCs and quests.* Such as travelling magic circuses performing different shows the player could participate in, or an alchemist shop with an eccentric owner, could even be a cat with a hat and a monocle, who ask for weird fetch quests. Maybe even a racetrack from flying broom racing, where the player could participate, bet or even manage a team there or something. Anything that could add a point to the game.

You could tie the pets to level progressions. Turning into each would unlock new areas with their unique abilities. It would be very helpful for the open world aspect, as well as being fun. Late game should include a flying animal that cost no mana, and is as fast as the best broom.

Add enchanting to things like weapons, so if you were to craft a spear or a sword make a way to enchant it with different types of magic. For example, if you craft a sword out of sticks you could add a fire enchantment to it, it can work as another type of weapon. It would also take mana.

Since you added a cat, maybe add small deadfall traps that you bait with the cheese. The traps will catch mice, use the mice as food for your cat. Cat can then help you fight enemies...the more you feed the cat, the more damage it will deal....orrrr maybe the cat will then heal you/give you mana.

Maybe add like an ultimate spell that causes massive aoe damage, but the spell takes time to chant, and so the players/party must protect the person that's enchanting the spell by making a shield spell so that the main dealer isn't disrupted during the enchant. Also, maybe add a combo spell that's either used by a single player (like a dual caster spell) or a 2 player combo spell where they both enchant a spell at once that make it 2 times more powerful (there may be a few second delay, so that the 2nd player can join in, or maybe make it instant so that the combo spell is even stronger, by this logic the faster/more in sync 2 players are the more powerful the spell becomes).

If you successfully summon a familiar they will ask you to retrieve and specific item for them to create a binding contract with them .

I'm thinking on benefits to pets. The cat is small and mobile. It’s small size means that it cannot attack enemies, but as a black cat it gives a debuff on defense and luck to all enemies encountered and cannot be harmed by player attacks. Larger pets like dragons or minotaurs are bigger and can be harmed by your attacks, but they have excellent damage output and can take damage for the player--perfect for people that want to play supportive roles and aren't very good at aiming.
