Actually in india, the casting couch, sexism is also intermingled with the vast nepotism widespread in the industry. If you are an outsider from outside the big film families or not in favour with the big film families you are almost assured to not get any opportunities. Kangana is the quintessential outsiders , who has proved all her naysayers wrong so far by winning two national film awards for acting (indian equivalent of the academy awards but given by the government though). She was mocked for not being sophisticated and not good at spoken english. She had a huge fall out with Karan johar (big time bollywood producer who had rejected her earlier and thought that she had no future in films) and Hrithik Roshan (a huge star in india) recently which was a huge burning frontline news, where she accused hrithik to have been in a relationship with her and not revealing it publicly to avoid huge settlements during his divorce proceedings. The entire hindi film industry establishment backed hrithik (he is also a son of an actor cum producer), and dissed on Kangana.

But i like her, because she does not take anything lying down! She might be wrong onbsome occasions, but she does not fear adverse criticism.

she may be right at some extent.....(maybe)...but yeah she went too far...and hritik clearly made a point ..sorting some of her claims to be fake like his passport has no record of going anywhere where she claims ....she is just a attention seeker in this case .....she does have a point .....but she isn't holding on to a repute to be taken seriously by people

While this video is funny and has some truth to it, I have a problem with this statement. Hrithik did NOT get industry support, Kangana did. Hrithik literally sunk into depression because no one spoke on his behalf despite knowing him well (and knowing Kangana’s kooky personality). Female empowerment was the “thing,” so everyone supported her despite being caught in several lies. Blind trust. Until Hrithik finally Took matters into his own hands a year later and exposed her lies on national television. Still, she has a weird amount of support from people who don’t like proof being laid in front of them. 😑 I don’t call women like Kangana brave. I call them bitter and manipulative.

My lovely friends, am not saying that kangana is the epitome of innocence and she is always right. Hrithik could be right in his defence, all i am saying is i admire the fact that she has come up in a system which has tried drowning her for so long.

If women AND men are coming out against powerful people today, we should support them to speak up and properly report the problem. It's very hard for victims to come out in the first place and the percentage of people falsely accusing someone of harassment is miniscule by comparison.

I definitely don't like her at all. Also, all the "allegations" she had made about hrithik, she has no proof WHILE HRITHIK (who stayed quiet for so long) finally came out will all the evidence he has presented to the police as he wants to solve this while she has SUDDENLY BURIED HERSELF in some dark hole. It's sad since woman do go through this, but he taking advantage of the fact that she is a woman and this climate isn't good, especially for a person like Hrithik who basically everyone in the industry vouching for him. Even his ex-wife and he family so that's saying something. She manipulates being a woman, and as a woman that's embarrassing.
