I've never heard about Mercury in the 6th house as always thinking. It makes sense and it never dawned on me. I've been doing these guided sleep meditations and the guy said, "It takes the average person 7-10 minutes to fall asleep." It takes me at least 30-45 mins!!!!! My mind is always chattering. My Mercury is in Aries, and I will sometimes lay there for hours, my mind not getting the message about sleeping. It's not even me actively _thinking,_ just my mind off on its own trip. That said, my usual fall-asleep time is probably closer to 7 minutes. If it's legal where you are, try CBD for sleep. You can get CBD isolate if you MUST pass drug tests for work, the carceral state or whatever, but "full spectrum" (a.k.a. contains other cannabinoids in small amounts including THC, the one that gets you high) works the best. If you have chronic pain, it's also excellent for that! A verbatim quote from my mom about CBD: _"It's like a miracle."_

I have a retro mercury in the 12 with my sun and I have to study in complete isolation and often re-read and rewatch something and have to take notes so that it sticks, also vivid dreams, a lot of talking in my dreams and I sleep very lightly and not for many hours. I am relatively quiet person and very private.

Moon is in the 12 house and Mercury is in the 3rd house for me. My oldest sibling is indeed my biggest influence. I had an oracle reading and the deity that came up was Thoth and he is governing me in this life time my lower self tends to overthink and self sabotage, but during isolation I've been going on a spiritual journey to gain wisdom and self discovery. wow I had no idea about the Moon in 5th house that it has something to do with nurturing your own mother. I truly was a mother (parent) to my mother but I had no choice. My son has moon in the 9th. My South node is in the ninth. I feel like everything I learn (big ideas) like Believe in yourself! Life is what you make it! Have confidence! Etc I drill in my son. The 8th house is the house of death and or other peoples money. I can tell this is sort of modern astrology point of view, nothing wrong with that, just not what I use. I go by the old school pre 1700 years aka traditional astrology. These point of life/death/rebirth/growth/decay, just like life and plants growing. Also the seasons of the year via the tropical zodiac.The ancient Egyptians realized this. I just read Deborah Holding's Houses - Temples of the Sky book. It explains to you the history and how the house meanings came about from various ancient sources. Excellent Book!

My moon in fifth in aqua just what your story was saying exactly! My mom feels like a child to me and I don't like it at all! And my son is who gives me emotional fulfillment but we're separated now due to financial crisis I am going through and I can't support gm anymore and he lives with his father and I feel unstable and wounded while he's away! Mercury is in my 2nd and I do see money a big deal and talk about it and that's quite important and how smartly we can gain it. I have Mercury on the 11th Pisces and it's retrograde. Well actually l have 5 planets retrograde so l have noticed they truly do not affect me negatively when planets go retro. Say for example l have been thinking to buy a new fridge since the one l had came with the house it was old and didn't really work properly. So when Mercury went retrograde my fridge broke up on me and it just wasn't worth fixing it. I ended up finding a fridge l had admired, brand new yet l payed almost half the price because it was a floor model. In short l actually end up getting pushed to buy the things l need and always find really really good deals during Mercury retrograde
