Thank you for this interview. I think a lot of people need to hear this. Aidan, you’re an inspiration brother. Your passion for the game and for life is infectious and I’m glad I get to watch you every week(although I’m a Michigan state fan). I suffered concussions in high school that made me have step away from my sports career. It was the hardest thing I had to go through in my life. The grief and mental recovery process is so overlooked and I’m glad you are able to share your process and mindset throughout with others. Your support system is so important. Keep pushing man! Can’t wait to see you back out on that field. You’ve got the whole state of Michigan and the majority of the football world behind you.

I have never felt so bad for a player in my entire life....for all the reasons Aidan mentioned. As a fan it felt like our season was ripped away too. TBH it has not been the same watching the Lions without arguable the most important player on the team. Not so much from the skill perspective, although there is certainly that aspect, but because of the energy he brings to the team - you can't replace that. I wish him nothing but the best and cannot wait until he is on the field again....whenever that is. I am already soooooo looking forward to next year to see what he can do in a full season !!

Amazing interview. Most interviewers seem to focus on sport logistical things like ‘so what’s your rehab schedule?’. But honesty, it’s not like I needed my own broken-leg-to-nfl-play training plan tips 😂 The stuff the Taylors ask about - the getting in deep to his mind set & how he feels about the team - is way more interesting to hear from a fav player :)
