There are big races like the King George that are very interesting but there is nothing like the Derby . OBrien said a race like the Derby takes a lot out of a horse, if you are a winner or highly placed . It must be the case , a situation l'm afraid l have not given much attention to . He is very interesting guy ,O'Brien , he seems very confident again about Troy , this will worry the rest of them 💚

I always take whatever AOB says with a grain of salt but those saying "he didn't train on" might be in for a surprise. The way horse racing works is that the money is in breeding. City of Troy did enough at two with his pedigree to command high stud fees without even racing at three. If he didn't train on, Coolmore would have said he picked up some injury and had to be retired to stud. AOB might be wrong, be he does believe this horse is going to run well going forward.

Anyone with eyes can see that he jumped to quickly and bombed out. According to the Racing TV commentary, City of Troy broke well. Aiden suggesting City of Troy didn't break well. Screams, I don't really know why my horse was beaten, but desperately want to find an excuse for the poor run, irrespective of how implausible it may sound.

honestly he's a good horse you can see his quality but i can also see from a mile away those skinny dirt runner legs he's a northern dancer... they are prominent skinny legs and i can tell you now he wont be the best of the best on the turf! hasnt got the legs! legs will be problem not strong enough to get through heavy turf... bring him to america or dubai.. no point trying to inject this justify blood on the turf i know whats happening there im not blind... he'll be packed up and sent back either way.....

he hasn't got a brilliant neck or intelligent head temperament isn't anything worth noting or at least worth mentioning...compare him to mystik dan and he's a boy in my honest opinion. This is nothing got to do with size or shape any of that, it's Aura, (swag) whatever you like to call it yourself., In fact I would say mystik dan is a smaller horse in height length etc but troy does not have a flowing carriage like dan look at how dan walks his head dips slightly below neck/shoulder height he's docile and relaxed at all times like an old mare. Almost like if you were to say "sit boy" he would sit like a dog for you... he's ready to be commanded without extrusive thoughts and patterns going on in his mind that constantly spooks his head and disrupts his body and legs, wasting his energy and making him not focus on whats in front of him. He's Northern dancer on the turf running out of time that's what i can see.

A Northern Dancer? The sire of countless group one turf horses in Europe including the last triple crown winner in Nijinsky. If he's inherited that bloodline then the Derby should be right up his street. Northern Dancer is the sire of sires more so on turf than dirt.
