No I agree. Disney usually put so much effort into recreating each Disney princess perfectly, right down to the simple arm gestures that each 'princess' is taught to imitate. I mean, just look at Belle's costume! Elsa's magical dress is both ONE OF the most dramatic Disney transformations on a Disney film and is an important part of the identity that Elsa embraces. Apart from all that, everything from birthday cards to teddy bears with THAT dress on is being snatched up by little girls everywhere. On this occasion I think Disney don't quite pull it off. The dress is patches of less-than-magical-and-sparkly material and the wig is a real let down too. It must be the only Disney princess wig that really looks like a wig. Anna's outfit in comparison is stunning. I just really hope they revamp Elsa soon.

It's difficult you know,once you actually get the chance to be the character you need to know the movie forwards and backwards be able to quote the movie and you have to learn how to speak like them and how to write their signatures its not the same person playing the character 7 days a week it swaps like "backup"

Natalia Pestka I have no issues with the cast member(s) playing Elsa. I think they do a wonderful job in every way :-). When I was talking about what the Princess performers are trained to imitate I was merely emphasizing the level of perfection that Disney generally strive for when recreating from the movies. My point is, the same level of perfection and accuracy of detail is not emulated in the Elsa costume (the wig?). Which considering that this dress is coveted by little girls everywhere and considering how good Disney are at recreating Disney princess costumes for real life performers (look at any other Princess, including Anna in the video) is a real shame. There are plenty of homemade Elsa costumes on the internet which are much closer in my opinion. Everything from the wig to the neckline of the dress is wrong on the Disney version and it barely sparkles. Elsa's dress is a super-sparkly ice creation that majestically hangs off her shoulders in the film. Guess I'm just a hard-to-please Disney geek :-)

Samantha Gath I dont have any issues with the cast members and I agree with you the cast members do a fantabulous job at being in character I know what you mean and I feel kinda bad having you write that whole paragraph i feel i have wasted your time and effort but i know where you coming from because my friend (she is a face character at DLP) tells me that staff at Disneyland always do the best to keep everyone happy.I think we should make a petition to improve the Elsa costume
