During Florida teen killer Aiden Fucci’s sentencing hearing, a psychologist testified about statements Fucci’s girlfriend made about his behavior. The girlfriend told investigators that Fucci talked about death and killing a lot, would pretend to stab her, and told her she’d be easy to kill while she slept. The psychologist said Fucci even told his girlfriend that he planned on killing someone “within a month” back in May 2021 - just before he murdered classmate Tristyn Bailey.

Exactly. People who claim “that’s normal for teens” are either extremely naive or are cracked themselves. That is most certainly NOT normal or acceptable behavior to feign with an actual knife the slitting of someone’s throat. Unless you are doing it as an actor in a play on a stage with a fake knife in front of an audience.

This is the key to the sentence. Aiden is a young serial killer who got caught his first time. If I was the judge, this testimony would guarantee a sentence of life without parole. Just because someone is young, doesn’t mean they aren’t rotten to the core and irredeemable.

He did. His parents even sent him to a school where if he felt life was getting too stressful he could book an appointment with the school Dean who only dealt with kids with problems. For anyone seeing this after the trial he was indeed sentenced to life. The state, because of his young age (14 when he killed the young lady, 16 when sentenced) can evaluate him for release in 25 years under that state's law.

When I was a teen, I talked a lot about killing, I was obsessed with columbine, death and gore, I wrote stories involving killing my circle of internet friends (I had no real friends cuz I was homeschooled), I was obsessed with horror movies, play violent video games.. eh, I didn't go out and actually do all those things. My friends didn't think I would either. In reality I wouldn't even hurt an animal let alone human. This kid is a sociopath. I don't think the gf thought he's capable of actually doing it other than just talks and joking around. I mean he was only 14. Unfortunately, she was wrong. In these days, kids actually mature quite fast, exposed to technology where they could easily watch and learn things online compared to the 90s... so kids today can be just as dangerous as adults. Heck, there's even a 6 year old who brought gun to school and shot his teacher... only in America.

I LOVED scary movies as a young teen, even age 11,12 I was watching them.. never did I EVER have a fascination in killing or dying.. that’s very abnormal. Extremely concerning behaviour and I hope more and more parents become aware of how to educate their own children- I REMEMBER who the ‘cool guys’ were at that age and they were RARELY good influences to say the least. She probably was so excited to sneak out and see this “cool older guy” and experienced an absolutely terrifying nightmare. We need to remind the youngins’ how to recognize potentially bad people to be around especially alone.. clearly these troubled teens parents aren’t all going to do ANYTHING to prevent their own children from committing such atrocities.

That is not normal. You need somone who wants you for who you are, is trust worthy, and takes great care to love and protect you from harm. Not one who fantasizes about how he could hurt you. No matter how lonely you are, it is better to be alone than to allow someone to treat you the way he did. Aiden just so happened to be a murderer on top of it all. Nope, mentally healthy teens do not carry it out to that extent that he did. It was so “not normal” that his peers took notice of it as being excessive. When you creep out your closest companions and even your girl friend, you’ve taken it to a whole other level. Especially when you couple it with violent fights. So Aiden Fucci’s talk wouldn’t have concerned you? You wouldn’t have seen any red flags? Heard even the faintest sound of an alarm going off? Oh boy. Any kid who is “proud of having violent thoughts” is a kid in crisis going down a dark road. I'm really curious how can things like this actually be prevented even if u report it and no one does anything. My nephew who is 17 shows all the same signs. Carries a knife and has threatened to kill his gf numerous times (which I've told my mother many times). Extreme anger issues (punches walls, damages things, if u set rules, he punishes you for it - ex., He's stolen my mother's car keys because she told him to clean his room) the point where my mother is afraid to anger him. She adopted him but he's her biological grandson. I have begged and pleaded with her to get him into therapy. I mean begged and she says, well.. he won't go and I tell her to make him go. I've even provided a list of doctors and she won't...do anything. She just says that she's exhausted. There was an larger incident where she says she gives up on him but she has never tried. He also refuses to take meds, so how can things like this be prevented if no one will do anything. The signs are always there beforehand but it feels like a lost cause.
