Oh, you were at Fan Expo too? I know what you mean by the whole same footage presentation, but it makes it easier for the staff working to do a routine demo vs. trying something different each time. Yes it seems easy enough to show off the open world, but they want to cover specific things to show without revealing everything possible to do I think.

Patches are a means for a consumer to discover that their game is Incomplete. Their game is buggy, they're buying a product that has yet to finalize. A patch isn't a good thing where people in the past didn't use patches not because "It gets rid of flaws, its a good thing" but that developers released games that didn't NEED to be patched, what we bought was likely bug/glitch/error free. The more polish a game gets, the better it is for consumers. Less patches, the better except for Online games
