IT'S ALRIGHT 00:37 Keeho explained that the song is inspired by the reggae genre and that he wanted it to be in a minor key (I’m not sure about music theory). 1:32 For Jongseob’s parts, Keeho removed most of the instruments, leaving only the bass so Jongseob would have more freedom with his flow. However, Jongseob explained that he actually made the rap part more melodic because it fit the song better. 3:00 Keeho said that originally the first part of the song didn’t have a hook, but he decided to add the outro “I don't wanna?wonder?” and turned it into a hook in the first part of the song because it was so captivating. 4:30 He then showed off the adlib part. He also mentioned that for Jiung’s adlib, he didn’t create that part and usually doesn’t like that kind of adlib (bending notes upward or something like that), but praised Jiung for doing it very well. LAST CALL 6:02 Jiung explained that the song came about after a conversation with Theo about what kind of song he would like to have in their concert. Theo wanted a song that would allow everyone (including the crowd) to have fun, so Jiung decided to create a typical band sound that is predictable, so even people hearing it for the first time would know how to enjoy it. 7:28 He explained how he used minimal effects and only simple instruments (guitar, bass, drums), with just one effect leading into the chorus. 8:11 He then mentioned how he imagined a scene from a movie when designing the melodies. At the beginning, he created something loose, and then during Keeho’s part, he changed it to something more structured or tight, alternating between the two variations. 9:10 For the chorus, he focused on creating something that the crowd could sing along to. 9:37 Then he showed the killing adlib, which blew me away. Keeho commented on how high it was. 10:23 Keeho summarized that the song is very simple, making it easy to listen to. WASP 10:40 Jongseob said the song focuses on the bass sound. 11:35 They explained how the theme of “WASP” came up during a brainstorming session. Jiung mentioned some other keywords they considered, which Keeho said he had never heard before (same Keeho, same). 12:00 Intak explained that the idea initially came from the concept of a bee, and then they found the idea of a wasp. (The words “bee” and “wasp” sound more similar in Korean than in English, I guess). In the world of the song, they are wasps, and everyone else is just a small honeybee. 12:42 Jongseob demonstrated the wasp sound effect used somewhere in the song. 13:17 Intak said he wanted to create a simple flow at the beginning, with more freedom afterward. He also mentioned that while typically one person would rap in a bar, they mixed his part (two beats) and switched to Jongseob for the rest of the bar. I didn’t fully understand the reasoning. Jongseob added that he wanted to give it the same impact as a hook, so he rapped in a rougher voice, which Jiung copied. 15:13 For Jongseob’s part, because the song only consists of two voices, he wanted the style to be very different from the first part. Wrap-up Intak said that making music, contrary to what many might expect, is not that difficult, and encouraged others to give it a try. Jongseob mentioned that while they don’t believe they are making great music yet, this process is helping them gain valuable experience. He also said something about trying to push beyond the genre that he's comfortable with Keeho emphasized the importance of simply starting and not being afraid of the process of gaining inspiration. He said to do it naturally and comfortably. Jiung said something similar, the more one creates the more their skills will improve. Let’s make great music together!

Thank you so much for the english subs! As a fan I think it's incredibly important not to only enjoy the music you're listening to, but also to understand the proccess, and the artist's way of thinking while making a certain song. So this video definitely helped p1eces a lot to acknowledge the member's creativity and methods. I'd personally love to see more of these types of behind the scenes videos from P1Harmony even on their own channels if possible. I love last call so much. Jiung described it as a song with the typical pop band sound which many people may not find interesting but I love how reminiscent it is of like western boy bands (specifically one direction) songs so I absolutely adore it.

It's Alright is one of my favorite songs ever! It's so catchy and I can't get it out of my head at all. So it's sooo interesting to hear how they came up with it. And I'm so glad they used the 'I don't wonder, I don't wonder who cares' part more than just as the outro, it's the best part for me😍 the whole song is just an absolute masterpiece for me. Keeho's ad libs are heavenly, his voice just melts me every time🫠 And wow, Jiung, Intak an Jongseob are talented at making music! I especially always love Jongseob's raps, I don't know how he does that, but he just makes me obsessed with his rapping every single time! And I am a person that didn't like rap at all until few years ago. Jongseob is one of the reasons I've started to like rap a lot!❤ After wathcing this, I suddenly want to try music making myself. Never done it, but I have tought about it sometimes. This kind of woke up my interests towards music making😅

I'm newly into P1Harmony. The first ever i heard about P1Harmony was when they had pioneer concert in Jakarta. There's a kpop base instagram account that posted something about it. I was like oh who r they, then i looked up and listen to some of their top songs and was like oh okay they're good the songs are good too. Later they had a comeback, killin' it, i listened to it when it first released but became addicted just recently, then it leads me to listen to the whole album and then next all of their songs from other albums too. Better together-peacemaker-different song for me-one and only, they're my favs. After listening i'd say that i LOVE 'em. I was really looking forward for this comeback, and definitely this cb is a BOB all their songs from this 7th mini album are SO good. Aside for the title track 'sad song', it's alright and last call are my favs. I must say the ad-libs made me. Especially the ad-libs from 'last call' like ugh i love it! after hearing it here more clearer i can't back down again. Also just like what theo wants, last call sure is a song that feels free and to let loose to, and i like this kind of song the most. Still, aside from that this 7th mini album are GREAT! thank you for your hardwork P1Harmony💚💛
