Zakk is one of the best, he still inspires me to this day after meeting him on his mother in laws front yard and I didn't even know who he was. He was sitting on the grass playing his guitar without the amp and i said; your'e really good and should be in a band....:) LOL. well he started to play with me jokingly and then told me he was the lead guitarist for Ozzy after randy roads died. He had just started Black Label Society when we met and he gave me the first Black Label Society CD Sonic Brew. Really great guy and nothing but respect for him and his family. Thanks Zakk. JP Gaster (Clutch) occupied the drummer's seat in between, in September 2017. The band tours intermittently, and has released a single, three-track vinyl-only live 12" in 2016.

Can I input a little constructive criticism here? Where's the heavy Geezer bass lines?...The drumming needs to be miked with a deeper sound. Hiring a Sabbath style vocalist would also help. As much as I like BLS, I was hoping zakk would stop this over the top pentatonic solo he loves repeating and this phaser he uses a lot, but sadly not😔 Less is more certainly forgotten here🤔 Tony iommi composed these iconic blues based style riffs how they should sound but heavier like blue cheer did. I just wished zakk wouldn't over do everything on whatever he plays. Shame vocals muffled too.
