thanks for the video but there is something i don't understand bullets with red caps enter on one side and bullets of other colors come out on the other side.. I saw it in similar videos on the A-10 wathog plane. Bullets go into your machine, but why do they come out on the other side and are placed in boxes? thanks for the information

Those are not bullets which come out those are empty shells from previous missions spent shells are not ejected overboard they acts as ballasts to balance the plane because as you know a10 was a plane that is said to be built around its gun so if all the bullets which weigh a lot will be ejected mid flight it will shift it's centre of gravity which will make it very very unstable

I believe China making ,,,,20mm automatic cannons you should look into ,,,,,retroing A10s some ok to 23mm cannons don't scrap all as well as 30mm comes in handy plus mark 4 is what you need to achieve I believe with 23mm cannon planes if you don't have any a05s light hawk

Could this process be made any more labor-intensive?
@Ayetsu9 жыл бұрын
+hitssquad They could be lifting all the munitions directly onto the racks and loading the individual rounds by hand.

+Ayetsu That guy in the middle when they carry the sidewinder..... had it not been for him the entire mission would be canceled xD

Navy loads most of their shit by hand. So, yes.

That plane could use a paintjob.

Negative! A-10s fly because they are so ugly they scare the air out of the way and create lift. If you made it pretty it would never get off the ground.

1. I notice you have a 119 ECM pod. I thought those went out with F-4! All ours at my last A-10 base were 131 pods. That was 1996!!!2. We only put ECM pods on station 1 when 11 was inop because it would interfere with the MAD in the left vertical stab3. We never loaded LGBs. Why aren't the guidance units moved closer to the bombs or installed prior to loading?4. Is that one of those fancy targeting pods on 11?5. In my day the pilot opened the canopy a dropped the bombs out...none of these fancy guided gizmos. And we liked it that way!6. What kind of mission would call for AGM-65, LGBs, and JDAMS? I'd call that "Loaded for Bear"!7. I'd have burned you for carrying that AIM-9 with 2 guys and a guy touching it! You guys are lucky I'm not there! Now I have to go terrorize my grand kids!

It's not a ALQ-119 pod It's an ALQ-184 pod Stretched version of the 119. They can also carry ALQ-131 ECM pod as well. Willing to bet you were at Spang . PACAF both Osan and Eielson used the ALQ-184 PODS. This was filmed at Osan know those HAS's well. As far as LGB and AGM-65 that's the standard loadout for Osan based A-10's whose job is to kill North Korean Armor and artillery. Osan is only about fifty milies from the border.
