What truly impresses me is their ability to recover the second it ends. You can never resist a taser, you just seem to twitch on the ground like freshly caught fish. Maybe moving your legs is the best you can do ( were they able to do it willingly tho ? ), but they just hop back onto their feet like nothing happened.

you absolutely can resist a taser to a degree.. you wont have full control but you can lock yourself up, some people can even still function somewhat normally, at least enough to pull barbs out of their skin and keep running.. for the ones that lock themselves up, they are actually really dangerous, because it makes their movements explosive.. they will be fully engaging all muscles in their arms or something, then let one side slack, causing a snap of movement with a lot of force (like your boxing coach always said, dont punch the target, punch through the target, and they are reaching for the moon when tased lol)

There are a lot of cops that really don't want to resort to tasers because of the fact people can power through it. We did this before deployment, and one guy screamed straight up like the highest pitched scream ever. He was subsequently teased the entire deployment. 😂 we also maced each other in the eyes for training, then had to run an obstacle course of police takedown maneuvers. Some didn’t even seem affected, and I had to do it all with my eyes shut, I could NOT force them back open.

Your muscles involuntarily contract causing you to become rigid. I had to go through this working at a jail. When we used oc we had to be sprayed with it too. I also packed a .40 cal., fortunately they didn't require me to be shot too. 😁

OC pepper spray training was basically the same. Truly I think someone just thought it would be funny to subject willful participants to different forms of discomfort. I would rather be tased than sprayed, that much I know. 😖😥😏😁
