This series is well-written and directed, the entire production is high caliber. All the actors in the series are excellent. The actors in the roles of Shamsher and Mehak were well cast. Danish Taimoor is incredibly handsome. Shamsher is a narcissist. He is obsessed with Mehak, he does not love her. If he loved her he would not have taken away her freedom, demeaned her father to the point of needing a bypass operation, and caused havoc in many other ways for her and her family. Buying her things and treating her like he is training her to accept him and training her how to behave is not love. He is nice to her at times but this character's form of "love"/obsession is abusive. In addition, keeping her in a household where she must stay in their bedroom to not be verbally and emotionally abused by his family is horrible. To show he cares for her, he should find a residence where they can live by themselves. Mehak is not only dealing with the emotional trauma of Shamsher's intense harassment of her and her family, her father being operated on, and being forced to marry but she is also living in a household surrounded by hatred from people who commit malicious, and vicious acts to achieve evil goals.
