After Gen Zia came to power in 1977, he released Attaullah Mengal & all Pashtun Baloch leaders from Hyderabad jail & sent Attaullah Mengal to London for treatment at government expense. He was worried about Baloch people but enjoyed living in palatial homes of Karachi & London. He didn’t like the military but preferred to build a home In military administered Defense Housing society.😂 what a conflict of what he said in public and what he practiced. Nationalist politicians thrive on divisive politics to keep their vote bank intact. The British kept them under control by offering them bags full of money & that’s how Baloch leaders have been blackmailing governments to bribe them with free easy money.
