You didn’t understand the Aikido of the Founder and this is very sad. The Founder sad: to be forever in hanmi, itsumo hanmi desu, so WHY DO YOU ARE FOREVER IN FRONT POSITION WITH YOUR BODY? This is YOUR IDEA of Aikido!

Simply because this is not Aikiken. The name of the video labels it has "Aiki ken" but this practice has nothing to do with it. Even in the description it is affirmed by this guy: _"Aikiken, the aiki sword, is the common name for sword against sword exercises in aikido. It is practiced in many different ways"_ With this statement, you can get a clear idea of how wrong he is.

@@airon3348These look like basic exercises for any sword based martial arts rather than system-specific drills. We have a number of similar drills in our hema longsword classes. The longpoint (chudan no kamae) plays look particularly familiar except we parry with the edge of the sword because european swords are less rigid than nihonto

its a good point but OSensei also said its best not use CAPSLOCK when you make a comment and keep it respectful.

@ I can’t respect who practice aikido without its rules. If you have others rules, doesn’t call it aikido.
