technically, not counting Hyorin's one time whistle-like G#6, her range and Ailee are the same, C3 ~ Eb6 is 3 octaves and 3 semitones and D3 ~ F6 are also 3 octaves and 3 semitones, difference is Ailee can go higher and not as low. Ailee is the better vocalist, more consistent, more freedom, more support and she has a real head voice, not a breathy tensed falsetto. Lower range wise, Hyorin has a better more developed lower range.

It says at the end of each video.. lol Hyorin's full range is C3 ~ Eb6/G#6 (3 octaves, 1 note and a half or 4 notes if you count the "whistle"), Taeyeon D3 ~ C6 (2 octaves and 6 notes), Sunye D3 ~ Bb5 (2 octaves and 5 notes), Ailee D3 ~ F6 (3 octaves and 2 notes)

It's okay and it's sort of a whistle register. It wasn't very well done, so many people call it a squeak and don't count it musically, that's why you could say it's only up until Eb6. You're welcome ^ ^

Great video! Your vocal range videos are as proficient as those american ones. I personally like Ailee's middle, mid-high range, and head voice. And I prefer Hyorin's lower register, upper chest belts (E5~F#5), and whistle register. Ailee uses very orthodox techniques as most black female artists (Beyonce). Hyorin, on the other hand, follows the way Christina sings. The resaon why Ailee can go higher to A5 is that she sacrofice the thickness (chest voice) and focus her voice in head. Actually the F5s & F#5s Hyorin belts are more diffucult. If you want to mix chest voice in such high range, you must strain your voice and sustain it by throat.

Oh definitely, Hyorin's lower range is much better, Hyorin doesn't REALLY have a whistle register, she wishes. lol I agree actually, if Ailee were to focus her sound and mix it into a headier head placed mix, she could belt higher, but she's not a gospel diva, she doesn't need any notes above A5, god she barely even needs A5 lol That's true. Actually you can sing in a higher register with chest resonance without being throaty, but in the long run it will tire out your voice more quickly. At least Hyorin isn't straining and being throaty like she used to, but it's perhaps not gonna last as long in the long run for her. Actually I don't even like Hyorin's E5's, I like that one F#5, I like her F5's better, everything else I prefer Ailee, though I love both of their voices and I'm happy for their improvements!~ Also thank you so much! I don't get how my video is proficient or how others may not be as proficient as mine, I feel like we're all doing the same thing lol but I'm thankful you think so!!

Ailee really needs to go somewhere...I swear she's fucking amazing!!! She could some of these girl group main/lead singers a run for their money. In some performances I've seen she can push her vocals sometimes but her breathing and everything is well executed in my opinion.

I think so. He's the main vocal, and has done about 30 cover songs (with band, and some solos) recently--all on their official channel. He's been on immortal song once. He was in singer and trainee along side boohwal's guitarist-Kim Tae Won. Thats about all I know.

okay. then. Lower 3rd octave is Eb3 ~ C3, which I'd agree yes it's a somewhat useless area for a soprano mostly. Please say supported, because saying chest isn't connected is just not right.. Sohyang starts at G#3/A3 like Ailee yes, but Sohyang can't sing below F3 anyway, and can belt up to C6 with resonance so.. I don't think Ailee will be a C6, B5, Bb5 belter, so working on the lower end she already has would be smart. Also saying Kelly has no voice under C4 is really exaggerated...

Hyorin can sing F#3 within a good tessitura, and stretch it to C3. Mariah Carey can sing with projection down to Bb2/B2 and she can stretch it down to F#2. So yes a Soprano can project in the lower 3rd octave taken Ailee loses consistency in her lower notes below A3. Well I wouldn't call Eb5 mid belt, but okay lol well yes then u r right, it's a high area, she's good, and keeps getting better~

Mariah Carey has vocal nodules that make her lower register darker. F#3 isn't in the lower 3rd octave, and a lot of Soprano's can't sing below C4. C5 - Eb5 are mid belts, E5 - F#5 is upper mid belts, and G5 - C6 is upper belts.
