I'm sorry to tell you that the reason why it might look so natural or seamless is because the guy was basically adding his own twist every time. It may have helped pushed the narrative, but he put way too much of his own script and said a bunch of things Ailin never said. An interpreter's job is just to interpret, not to also put on his manager hat and help create a storyline.
