10:46 This video is a classic example of the tactics sex traffickers use Dude or woman walks up to a young girl or boy, tries to make them all comfortable through offering to buy them something , complimenting them etc. Eventually the man or woman asks them their age, maybe if they’re single or not. Then they offer the victim “work”. Never accept job offers from random ass people you meet in a Walmart, Fred Meyer, thrift store, wherever you shop at, or even on the street.

Yup, never agree work from a random person especially if they compliment your looks. That video is scary. The guy literally asked her to come to his isolated house out in the country to help him with some house work. That's a huge red flag. I've done some odd jobs before and I went to a house completely out of town to do some work there, BUT I knew the person and at the time I was already doing odd jobs for her elder mother. I told people where I was going and how long I'd be gone because you still have to be cautious even if you know the person. And you have to have your own car. Do not go to their place, out of town, in their car.

So my deck is very loud when you walk on it so I always know if someone's there so the knocking lets me know it's my food and not my neighbors creepy son. So it's about time for the pizza to be arriving and I hear the loud creaks on my deck steps then they stop for a couple of seconds and then start again with no knock. I'm a bit freaked but the pizza should have been delivered around that time so I go open the door look out and here's a guy just casually walking away with the pizza case, it was not anywhere on my deck or table and I was just pissed off all of a sudden and yelled out "oh hey is that for me." Honestly same thing happened to me at time stamp 1:19, I was on a school trip on the island Réunion since I was living in Mauritius at the time and before I went on this trip my mom asked if there was anything she could pack for me for the trip since I have sensory processing disorder and had a really hard time finding foods I liked and could eat. The teacher who was going to be accompanying me on the trip said anything was fine so my mom packed a bunch of snacks I liked for the trip. Once I had arrived at Réunion we went to a hotel and that same teacher wanted to see what my mom packed me. She opened my bag to see the snacks and acted all shocked like I wasn’t allowed or supposed to bring snacks even though she agreed before the trip and banned me from eating them. So I was stuck having to eat food that made me feel terrible and barely really ate during the trip, near the end of it they were giving out awards to the students for example: Most funny award or Miss Popular. When it was my turn to go up they decided to shame me by giving me the “Miss snacks” award.. Nobody else got any kind of demeaning award either just me. If that wasn’t bad enough my roommate on the trip decided to steal the snacks I wasn’t allowed to eat and left the wrappers in the trash making it look like I had broken the rule and got in trouble for it. Though the worst part of that whole trip was when I was encouraged by that same girl to buy a large chocolate bar to share with the class, I thought it was a sweet and really nice idea so I agreed but didn’t have room in my bag so she said she would carry it for me. I wish I wasn’t so trusting and forgiving as a kid so that horrible girl wouldn’t had emotionally destroyed me as she did because once I got on the plane and had waited for the seat belt sign to go off so I could go and share but also eat some of the chocolate I was passed the wrapper.. She had given all the chocolate to everyone without me who paid for it getting even a bit of it as well as I got zero credit for it. I remember after the realization I just quietly cried in my seat and once my mom came to pick me up she asked “So how was the trip?” I said it was horrible and began crying. (P.S sorry for the long rant, even though this happened many years ago the memory still leaves an ache in my heart for my younger self and the bullying I was put through with that school.)

TLDR: Government says: "use it, or lose it." Squatter's law, I believe, is the government's way to stop people from hoarding land and not using it. Nowadays though, you really have to really try to lose to squatter's law. Squatter's right only come into effect after they squat on a property for a pretty lengthy duration (down under, its 12 years). They can't hide, coerce the owner to let them stay, or collaborate with a shady co-owner (to quote a law prof, "Without force, without secrecy, and without permission."). Oh, and you can't be committing other illegal act to try and keep your squat (e.g.: lying to utility company about who you are, redirecting mail, etc). If the owner raise any kind of measure before the period is up, the squatter is already shit out of luck.

They need to be totally optional to kids. But not allowing them to exist will just create its own problems. Parents need to be kept out of the equation and those reality tv shows for kids pageants need to stop.
@YahyaFalcon3 жыл бұрын
Not to say that pagents aren't bad, but "you're wrong for thinking they should keep existing" isn't a very persuasive argument and you can't really make the excuse that there's no convincing people who think otherwise because let's be frank who cares so much about beauty pagents that they're not going to listen to and be convinced by a proper argument against them? and if the reason you didn't bother is because making such an argument is a waste of time then fair enough but then why even comment this? To preach to the choir? Because last I checked that's a waste of time too.

4:36 - The police-officer in question has been given a Full-Life Term, life without the possibility of Parole, the harshest sentence it's possible to hand down in the U.K. EDIT - Child Beauty Pageants would be illegal in my country (U.K.). I know a group came over here from the U.S. in the late 90's with the idea of starting them up and were promptly informed that they would be arrested for 'Precuring for Paedophilia' if they attempted it. Sometimes, my country does actually get it right.

I just love the irony of the Subway Worker saying "Don't tell anyone I do this." while filming himself doing said thing and posting it online for everyone to see.

24:50 If I recall, what happened is that the cover is double layered. They pull the first across almost completely, then go under to pull the second layer that's underneath and bring it to. Then they get out and close it. Still shitty that they missed her. And the process sounds really unsafe to me. As someone who never has been with a swim team, I can't say how common this practice is. All I can say is that it sucks it happened this way

That first one really hit home for me. My girlfriend has GAD (generalised anxiety disorder) and anxiety attacks are the norm for my day to day. At least once a day she'll see a comment on a post she made or a nasty remark on the street and she will completely lock up. Words have power, and if you bring someone down just to feel better about yourself thats a piece of shit move. Hence, the subreddit your on.

I sadly have GAD too, same thing happens to me but not the attacks. Hell I'm even anxious that one day I'll start getting them. It's been rough with t recently and mental health care sucks in my state but, I wish the best for her. It is possible to successfully win the war against the disorder.

Within this series, I've heard about autistic children being mistreated... I have autism and it makes me angry that people treat autistic people as if the autistic people are not equal to normal people... I'm not making hate towards these videos by this amazing guy, I just want to have people realize that autistic people are equal as different people within the LGBTQ+ community or that are a different race. Edit: Wow! Thx for all of the likes!

I've got autism and ADHD. Life is an everyday struggle with trying to get thing done quickly and if I got that award, (mind you, I have trouble controlling my emotions.) I would walk up to the people who gave it to me, and punch them in their *goddamn* face.

@@sabahattinkayrul1026 they were saying that autistic people are equal to others just like people of different skin colors and sexualities are, too. basically saying any kind of discrimination based solely on a persons appearance or identity is wrong

That lady who BURNED HER OWN SON ALIVE hit a special place with me, I did the same thing he did to his mom. I told my dad about all the shady things she was up too. 15 years? Really? Not even 2 decades. This kid had way more then two to live. The fact that it's not even half of her lifetime is appalling.

When it comes to horrible relationships, I just might be your man. I had a manipulative girlfriend that would constantly threaten to kill herself. So, I broke up with her and blocked her on all social media. It was absolutely hell getting away from her. She made several accounts and harassed me, used my friends to get to me, and then threatened me. If you’re in a situation with a manipulative, abusive, and/or emotionally turbulent relationship, *get out of it.* Find someone who won’t do that to you. Please, you’re important and worth it.
