How do you regulate the heat from a jico? and what substance do you use to create heat in the jico?

If the Jiko temperatures go too high; you remove the reflector above it or reduce the number of jikos. If it goes too low then you restart it. Its efficient to use charcoal or brickets to run the jiko

Hi all, liquid paraffin is used for better digestion. On the first day till the 5th day you can add the vitamins (to help reduce the stress level) and glucose (for energy) into the water and mix it well, after that add a drop of liquid paraffin in the drinker (1 drinker for 50 chicks). After the 5th or 7th day, you can use the NCD+IB vaccine (once) into the water to help fight the disease Newcastle/infectious bronchitis. Clean the drinkers everyday. Liquid paraffin are sold online as well, just search for it. Do not use a substitute for liquid paraffin. Remember guys use 2g of starter chick feed for 1g of water ratio for smooth digestion.

The liquid parrafin is parrafin given to children or animals as a stool luxative. It is not parrafin used as fuel
