This is a dairy farm on a very small area with many cows. A chaff cutter machine for dairy farm is used for chopping feed. This young farmer is a very good dairy farm instructor on how to start cattle farming business.

I am from Zimbabwe and have watched many videos on dairy farming across the world. I can say that by far, this was the most engaging, due to the eloquence and clarity of this manager. Very knowledgeable. The future is bright for this farmer

What about doing the feeds purely on super napier or juncao grass, how many cows can be kept in 3 acres

It is okay but needs to be supplimented with other feeds. 3 acres can accommodate a maximum of 5 cows if you are producing feeds equivalent to the 3 acres.

I have watched so many videos on dairy farming and most specifically from Aim Agric. This farm interview has been the very best so far; rearing the best cows using the very simple methods and practices, keeping clear records and a really passionate and hands on manager.

Very impressive interview. The young farmer knows his stuff. First time to hear a farmer from that part of the world who has good grasp of feed quality, feed efficiency and Dry Matter concept. Serious farmer,kagrc bulls are designed for Kenya but it's not utilized by most Kenyans,upcoming dairy farmers in neighbouring countries have good cows because mostly they utilize imported semen from kagrc.
