I thoroughly enjoyed watching this collection of photographs. One side of my family came from Almondbury, my grandfather and father lived near Broken Cross in Kaye Lane, my great uncle's name is on the war memorial and my father and I both attended the grammar school. What other times these images convey...

Glad you enjoyed it. That’s some connection you’ve got there, thanks for sharing. A lot of my family came from here too, one was a Blacksmith just off Northgate, which i believe is now a road called Blacksmiths Fold. And another was a Baker on Longcroft, in one of the old houses just before the Scouts base.
