Aime is an 11-year boy who is a student at CS Kayanza; a school where Right To Play Rwanda is implementing a project dubbed Plug in Play (PiP). Under the project, RTP Rwanda provides training on making/tinkering, coding and robotics to SET subject teachers in a bid to help students through play-based learning methodologies in a classroom setting.
From May to June, 2023, Rwanda’s Ministry of Education organized a scratch competition which brought together students from across the country to compete. Aime was selected by his school to represent them in the competition. He went through various competitions at school, sector, district levels up until he made it to the final at country level, where he scooped the third place.
