When I released In This Dark Time in 2020, the first people to fall in love with the song were from Ukraine. They were playing it at all the summer parties, singing along as a crowd to the lyrics. It was the first time that I experienced something like that, and now, two years later they still listen to it under attack. This performance is an anti-war statement. Weapons should belong to the past.
