My favorite album by Aimee Mann is Bachelor No.2 if that means anything. I also love those albums you mentioned and listened to Beck's Sea Change everyday for months after I got it. When I first heard it I didn't care for it because I didn't get it. Now it's one of my all time favorites. One of his best also because of the great songwriting. Cheers mate!

Whatever is INDISPENSEABLE. The entire album has great songs..Aimee and Jon Brion(who played MANY instruments and produced) were a great team.

Cool, I rushed my comment from before, so after a good long think my 5 favourite albums I have come across are: The Clash-London Calling Jeff Buckley-Grace The Cure-Disintergration Manic Street Preachers-The Holy Bible Beck-Sea Change I haven't heard aimee mann properly yet, but this whatever album seems to get some major praise. I hope this album is worth the hype, from the sound of this song I would also recommend to fans the beck album mentioned above. Its heartwrenching...
