+itsjackson91 I think Robin pushed Patrick too hard for too many years. As much as I love Scrubs all he wanted to do was love her and she fought him every step of the way. He would tell her he loved her, she would say he didn't. He was honest about not initially wanting to be a father and she held it against him. She never cut him a break. And I feel as though Patrick got exhausted and gave up. Years later Patrick is the best father and he's literally fighting for Robin not to leave her family because of her "work". He got tired of chasing her. I don't even think Jason would have put up with Robin being like this. She was not as self righteous when she was initially with Stone or Jason. Patrick really got the grunt of her hypocrisy and self righteousness. (I still love her though -- but ugh let the man live!)

+Elemon Ators I understand why she fought him. Before she got pregnant he didn't respect their relationship. Proven when he would flirt with Leyla any chance he got. Robin's always been a little insecure and it didn't help that they were barley broken up when he started sleeping with Leyla. I get why she doubted his love for her. And when they got married he cheated on her with Lisa after he knew how much it took for her to trust him. Robin's incredibly stubborn and has her issues, but Patrick has been no angel by any means. Robin was wrong for leaving to save Jason, but Patrick should've realized that she would never stay away by her own choosing. That's the problem I have with today's Patrick.

I'm no fan of present day Patrick, I'm hoping when Robin returns they will reconcile and that his personality shift is because all he want is his true family back together not the farce he has with Sam. Yes Patrick was a flirt, but he didn't mean anything by it, he would even flirt with Elizabeth. I just think Robin spent soooo much time picking fights with him, dictating that she was right and always believing she knew exactly how he felt or what he would in every single situation. She was concerned he wasn't going to be a good Dad and wouldn't give their child stability, surprise surprise, Patrick's the best Dad, she's the flake of a mother. The situation with Lisa he was 100% wrong but they had such a rocky year she has depression, he was looking after Emma alone for months and Robin was secretive even when she finally did come home. So many factors came into that one night stand. All in all, Robin is the love of Patrick's life and in 2015 he is totally lost without her.
