0:25 Ain't no sunshine when she's gone It's not warm when she's away Ain't no sunshine when she's gone And she's always gone too long Anytime she goes away Wonder this time where she's gone Wonder if she's gone to stay Ain't no sunshine when she's gone And this house just ain't no home Anytime she goes away And I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know I know, I know, I know, I know, I know I know, I know, I know, I know, I know I know, I know, I know, I know, I know I know, I know,

just discovered your backing tracks while searching for Al Green ones - thanks so much for sharing your own albums tracks. So much better than MIDI or BIAB ones. Keep it up.

+Mark Maxwell - My Smooth Jazz Yes. My parents don't agree with my decision to become a professional musician. So I'm 16 and have to get a job to support myself studying to get a Bachelor's Degree in music. All the while working on releasing music of my own.

Ah, Thato, you are among the many, believe me. What parents, in their right mind, would want their kids to be a professional musician? It's a tough life for the vast majority of musicians (and artists in general). Listen - here's some great advice: don't go into music as a profession unless you CAN'T NOT DO IT. Being a professional musician, a professional artist of any sort really, is most often a life of toil and heartache. You have to be willing to suffer and go without, sometimes for many, many years. And unless you have a creative drive that is so persistent that you can't ignore it, that pushes you and that won't leave you alone no matter what - well, stay out of the music business. It takes a certain temperament and you have to be a certain kind of person. Having said that, if the drive to make music is so persistent that you can't not do it, GO FOR IT! Go for it full bore without hesitation because that's the only way you'll be really successful. Ignore your parents' advice and the advice of your counsellors and friends and jump in feet first with the intention of never giving up. Period. That's the kind of commitment it takes. And also - DON'T HAVE A PLAN B. Either go for it completely and with your full attention and effort, or do something else. I'm giving you this advice as someone who has been in the music industry for more than 50 years; I've been a musician and I've been around musicians all my life. I know what I'm talking about. And, hey, don't be sad about it. If music is truly your calling and you're willing to give it everything you've got for as long as it takes no matter what, then you're in for an interesting life, my young friend, and you're going to have many fine and interesting and wonderful experiences, and there's a good chance that you're going to make a lot of people happy with you're music. Let me know if I can help you further in any way, Thato. Good luck, man. ~Mark

+Mark Maxwell - My Smooth Jazz I really appreciate it. ☺ and I've already taken all your advice..I don't have a plan B by choice. I have my heart set on music and I refuse to give it up. I don't expect to warn millions or fame or fortune and I've surrounded myself with like minded people. We don't expect to be making millions every year we just want to be happy.

if you can't hear the bleed in by the sax you're def. could've been a nice backing track
@MarkMaxwellMusic7 жыл бұрын
The track has been edited since this video was posted - all sax bleed has been eliminated - and is available here - backingtracks.pro/pop-tunes. Good ears, MrSoothing - I appreciate your concern.

Cool track, I can use this for sure. Just to double with you guys. If I am on my Tenor Sax and hes in Gm. Then I need to be in the KEY of "A" correct?? And if I am on my Alto (which I think he is)...then I am in the Key of E. Correct?
@floridaguy19553 жыл бұрын
If a backing track is in Gm you would play it in Am on tenor, Em on alto. You are correct. Alto is 1 and a half steps below C. Tenor is one step above c instruments.
