Hi Susan, I just happened to read you are a cat lover? So am I! I had two parrots, a bluefront and a yellownape, both the same size as Tico and my cats would reach in and play with their wooden toys hanging down from the cage tops. My birds thought it was great entertainment to watch them. Nobody ever got hurt and I had 5 cats then.
