Decades ago when I was studying in Austin my ex husband and I would go down to visit his mother. We’d pass the LBJ ranch. I’d always make him stop and go up to the fence and give the huge buffalos ear scratches. It got the point where they recognized the car and would run up to the fence. The mom’s even let me scratch their babies. Amazing experience. No, I would never have entered the pasture!!!

I've always gotten my dogs fixed as soon as possible or they came that way when they were adopted. I don't do puppies and do everything to makes sure I don't have to.

I don’t see where they added any bandaging to solstice. Perhaps it’s not appropriate for a wild animal. But having open wounds, seems like there’s a high risk of further infection.

After being neutered , Homer would still be playful , friendly , he just wouldn't get unspayed female dogs pregnant . It 's funny that he went right to Dr.Oakley 's !! 😊 I think llamas walk so gracefully . Except for the spitting , kicking and biting ( only bottom teeth ) they are so cute .

We love hounds…especially Bassett Hounds. We fix all our dogs unless the rescue has already done so. There are already too many puppies out there. I understand wanting a puppy from a much loved very intelligent dog…on one level I wish we had done so with out amazing long haired shepherd but chose not to do so. Homer is a good example of why it’s necessary…it does NOT change the dog’s personality.
