A popular shop here in Houston told me 7k and 2 months… 8 months later they gave it back without a cut and buff and i had to pay in full + gas$ because their workers siphoned my tank and they charged me for having to put gas in it, paint chipped first day, my door was still sagging, my new bumper crooked because they used my original crashed bumper brackets and they painted over 2 small dents. When i took it back for the cut and buff they said 2 or 3 days to fix… its been another 2 months ☹️ of excuses, delays and no replys i have to walk in to get an update

Every shop labor rates are going to be different , the more mods being done the bigger the bill is gonna be , show cars don't get driven , street show cars do , basically you can buy a one owner 76 glasshouse or vert , pay to fix the car for wheel fitment , suspension etc for 26s or 28s for example , then dress up the engine bay and call it a day ! The problem is that more is never enough so you wind up breaking the bank 🏦 , 4.56 gears out back , 4 link suspension , engine/trans swap , new / trick interiors & don't forget that custom paint job that can only be done right by blowing the car apart & then reassemble the whole thing !! Ching Ching 🤣$$
