I think the penalty against light units was already accounted for considering he is ALREADY a dark unit and has a penalty against light units. Giving him the passive 30% is like giving him multiple. At least give him a buff to account for the TWO penalties. In the lore, the penalty is due to him being undead. Undead characters in Orbis already have light vulnerability built into their kit due to them being dark units.

If we doin lore his s3 spell is non resistant. And he can't be debuffed. Also, in e7 all dark units already take more damage from light. It already matched lore so no need to make it more. His s2 should happen before/start of battle and should not be punished (like Zio). And it should be almost every buff in the game.

how to buff him 101: make a passive were he gets up to 30% mediation depending on level(like in the game) keep the light weakness so it'll basically make him take natural dmg from light units make his s3 at least the soul burn to ignore eff res, if not make his debuff like lethe make his debuff not clensed when he's dead make his shield depent on effectiveness make his s2 clense (its 2 turn cooldown so like? lol )

I think SG was hesitant to make Ains too strong because of his sure kill skill. However, he's actually pretty limited because of his built in weakness and they many ways his only useful aspect can fail. I think the only way to go is if make his only useful skill a surefire kill. Then you still have resurrection and invisibility that stops it but you don't have to worry that it will just fail at random. I think this would be the bare minimum to make him playable but he would still be a difficult unit to pick. His light weakness will always make him a bad pick unless there are no meta light units, I think they need to completely rework his S2. Maybe give him a flat 20% mitigation based buff(undispellable) due to his physical nullification and magical nullification but light units dispel it after a successful hit. This eases the stats needed to build him but still make light units a threat. I honestly think that they won't take out his weakness because they left in Roy's water weakness which means our boy Ains always going to be a last pick at best.
