I'm the proud owner of both the TX200 HC Mk3 "walnut stock" and the HW97K in blue laminate. I bought the TX200 on the advice that it was easier to service. I have found that the TX200 is easier to load although it only has a 3 quarter breach. The underlever i find easy to pull back and because there's no button to press a much easier loading mechanism. Shooting wise i prefer the blue laminate "smooth" stock and feel. I would say they're both very accurate and on a par. The HW97 is in my eyes better quality and comes much cheaper than the TX200. I wouldn't part with either.

Hello sir. This might sound odd but I like to push my airgun to it's limits, shooting beyond 100 meters. My first airgun was a Hatsan break barrel, quite a simple, cheap rifle. I was wondering if underlevers like the TX200 are more accurate to distance because the barrel is fixed. Or is it the inevitable curse of the springer air rifles that they inevitably loose accuracy to distance because of the double recoil (PCP's don't have it and are far more long range capable)

@@tatarugabriel4328 I'm shooting at 30 yard max with the TX as it has a short barrel. I'm not sure if the fixed barrel is as important for accuracy as long as you have a decent engineered break barrel. If i was hunting vermin I'd use my PCP's but love the challenge and feel of the springers

@@awolwakefieldyorkshireactually the short barrel actually works in your favour. The barrel is only to get the projectile/pellet in this case on its way and start it spinning. An air rifle at sub 12 foot pounds is slow .22 five hundred and odd fps and .177 seven hundred and odd. So compare that to my 17 HMR doing 2550 fps the pellet spends much longer in the barrel and that means longer for the guns movement recoil and your hold to affect the shot. The only way to shorten that time in the barrel is to shorten the barrel, you can’t speed up the pellet because your gun would be over the UK legal limit. Believe me you can shoot the TX200HC at 50 meters or 55 yards with great accuracy with practice. The only benefit of longer barrels is with pcp it will increase air efficiency therefore increasing shot count and the longer barrel doesn’t affect accuracy as it’s a dead gun (no recoil) hopefully this helps I’ve been shooting half a century and yes I’ve got a sub 12 foot pounds TX200HC it’s an excellent air rifle but to be fair I’ve also got HW77k and the hw97kt to mention but a few of my collection.

Dear Mark, I will have to disregard your view on accuracy, because, sorry to say, your shooting technique is lacking. To begin with, the table looks quite unstable. Also, the support under the fore end has a cushioning over the wood that to me looks much too thin and therefore too hard. Springers do not like that. Also, putting the rifle on the curved top of that support makes it very unstable. At least, put a towel between the flat top part of the wooden support and the fore end, and / or use your leading hand wearing a shooting glove for extra cushioning, to get better results. The TX has at some point in time gotten a lengthened piston stroke which increases "lock time" and many find the shot cycle sluggish. That decreases accuracy and makes soft support and very precise follow through necessary. For the rest I agree with your views, especially your comparison with the HW 77 / 97, which handle, cock and load a lot easier. I think the gun fired surprisingly well, on a platform it is very hard making the springer bounce. The rifle was not resting on the balance point. The fact that the platform did not absorb recoil caused vertical dispersion on almost all targets.

I have 5 Spring Rifles: HW95, HW97 and HW98. A Pro Sport and a TX200 HC. I like all of these guns and all are accurate. However, I have used the HW98 and TX200 in HFT competition for a couple of years before I finally decided to focus on my HW100. I've never liked the balance of the HW97 as it's front heavy and found the HW98 easier for me to shoot. Overall I found the TX200 better balanced of all the guns and much easier to service when needed. I also found that there are more after market parts for the TX which allow them to shoot nearly as smooth as a PCP!! I have recently short stroked my TX200 mark 3 with a mark 2 piston and spring which has made for less recoil and an easier gun to shoot.

The TX200 has won more recoil world championships than any other Springer. The current world champion shoots a TX200. Second and Third places were also TX200 users in the recoil championships this year! As I've said before I have 5 Springers and the TX200 is the best for balance, maintenance and shooting. Yes if the pellet is tight in the breech like I've found with the QYS it will rob the gun of power. I've found the AA Express and JSB 8.4 that are smooth in the breech seem best for the gun.

Your comments are very interesting. I have toyed with buying a TX for quite a while but have not been convinced by all the praise surrounding them. (No shortage of second hand ones for sale). I recently bought an HW77 full length built 2005 in fabulous condition, cocks like a dream, 11.6 ft lbs and incredibly accurate. I have five Weirauch rifles, all springers and absolutely love shooting all of them. I just bought an Air Arms SE90 in immaculare condition but find it a completely different animal to the Weirauch rifles. To date i cannot find a nice non carbine at sensible money. The 77 was incredible value at £250-00.

The HC has a barrel length nearly 80mm shorter than the Mk111, hence a little extra cocking effort. As a matter of interest anything over 10 inches is a waste of time. So said Tony BeIas on an episode of Hot Air a few years back. ( A series well worth watching ). Volume of air, length of stroke etc. etc. The pellet should have gone etc. etc. Who in the Airgun world would argue with him on technicalities ! I have short stroked both my Mk111 and my 97 KT with TBT kits. Lock time is reduced, both are better for it. Both are now running at 10.8 ft/lb. The problem I encountered was that neither rifle, if fed quality "brand" pellets , was very fussy. Took me months too convince myself which pellet suited which barrel. Without spending stupid money my TX is now, near perfection as far as I am concerned. The 97 is just very, very good. Nice video by the way.

Hi @stephengamble9388...actually regards your comments concerning Tony Belas, I know one RFD who would say very different and has done so on many an occasion. He knows Mr Belas personally and has nothing good to say about him other than he's a salesman. I don't know the gentleman and have never met him, so I'll reserve judgement. But as I said in reply to another post along the same lines. If anything over 10 inches is a waste of time, why have the likes of FX developed so many barrel/liner options out to 800mm. It comes down to a balance of power loss against twist rate and stability of flight. Ensuring the pellet spins at the right rate through flight is a combination of many factors. Granted all this is more relevant to FAC / full power rifles. If you want to see a proper explanation of how it works, watch Matt Dubber's series instead. He has far more credibility in my opinion. An honest review, thank-you. Having run out of air during Covid lock-down, I decided to add a springer to my gun cabinet. I checked out both the HC and full length TX200. I bought the full length which has a longer cocking arm and is consequently easier to cock - I personally don't recommend the HC/carbine length. I found the lock time slow and it took me a while to get used to it (being more familiar with rimfire and PCPs). I eventually fitted a short stroke kit which improved it. (Rumour has it that it is currently designed as an 18 ft-pounder for the US market and we get the same gun with a softer spring.) Short-stroked its easier to shoot and groups now on a par with my AA S400 (i.e. very good - much better than the results in your video by a considerable margin). My only criticism now is the auto-safety which I hate. Not a criticism specific to the gun, I just hate auto-safeties. If I had been more patient and learned the gun's handling characteristics it would have been fine. The faster lock time from the short stroke kit makes it handle more like a PCP or rimfire. As modified, this gun is a keeper. Friends at the club who have tried it agree. As ever, your mileage may vary.

Personally, after many tries, I only have spring-loaded rifles because they simply offer me more of a challenge and fun when shooting. Very good review, that rifle is so accurate. You should fire 1 pellet of each kind of pellets after changing the pellet type outside of the target, then go for the grouping with the intended type. When changing from type to type of pellets, the rifling will accomodate with the new type of metal the pellet is made of with the 1st shot. I have noticed this with many rifles and dozens of pellet types and brands i have tested, you can even observe it in your groupings in this review.

Excellent point,just wondering if it would take a fair few shots for the rifling to bed in to a different pellet hardness,not just one? Genuine question. It does take time to find the right pellet for a barrel,short term reviews are a guide only.

@@redpillnibbler4423 Thanks, and yes it is better for the barrel to shoot a few, say 3 or 4 pellets of some kind before testing its accuracy with a group. For instance, H&N use more antimony than JSB in the mixture, so they have harder pellets. Both are very good, but the rifle will handle each one slightly different than the other. There are off course other factors.

Nice review. If I may suggest to make a follow through with your trigger squeeze in order to tighten your groups. That is a micro slow squeeze all the way back while looking at your point of impact. I can see your finger jerking even before hitting the target. This method will work wonders as our TX200 is designed to average half inch or less at 25 meters and 1 inch or less at 50. I’ve got a 97 & 77 and love them, the TX is a brilliant gun and after shooting and being very happy for years with the results using jsb 4.52. Ive been blown away 4.50 H&N FTT. To the point I’d say now it just beats my HWs (for now)

interesting for sure i have the tx and a 98 shot many 97’s and 95’s and a fair few other spring guns all shot very well . the tx i have is the full rifle but it is blisteringly accurate out to 55 yards if i do my job right (which is not all the time 🤣🤣🤣) shot a few hc versions and we’re all pretty good a lot used the qys pellets which seem to work very well . mine is not mega pellet fussy but at distance it likes the qys or the jsb 5.1 head size . however i have knocked the power down to 11 or there about’s but that’s my preferred power with a spring gun .

Ive got a 2nd hand TX200HC and I dont have a cocking problem. I slso use the artillery hold. Being 2nd hand you have to consider that the internals have been possibly tampered with which vould be affecting the cocking. Accutacy wise 20p groups at 35yds. But fair play you said it how you found it. Keep up the videos

I just bought an Air Arms Pro Sport. In description they it noted It had a Lothar Walther barrel as a selling point. I believe it even said 8 strand. I got the walnut stock and it also stated that was made by Minelli which is another selling point. I have an HW97K and a Walther LGU along with the Pro Sport. Both the LGU and the Pro Sport have bushings and such so there's no metal to metal contact and they both allow the spring to rotate as it uncoils to help the shot cycle. I'm not saying my 97K isn't smooth or lacking because it doesn't have this, but that's something that some people pay a tuner to do. My 97k buzzed like usual until I installed a tin bum tuning kit. My LGU has a slight buzz. My Pro Sport which I just got today has no buzz or twang so I don't need to buy and install a kit to get rid of buzz. My 97k takes much less effort to cock than the Pro Sport and is much smoother than the hidden underlever. My guess is it will vary from gun to gun and what's been done as to which is more accurate when. I know my LGU is much easier to shoot tighter groups with than my 97K. We'll see where the Pro Sport fits in. My HW95N will most likely still be my favorite to shoot. I like them all though and may end up with a TX200 also.

Merry Christmas Mark, I own a Hw 77k and a Hw97k but don’t own a Tx 200hc, I think they use a short 9” barrel in the hc because it shortens the time the pellet is in the barrel in the shot cycle so is less affected by gun movement making it more accurate than it would have been. I am almost too ashamed to admit that I have taken the bear traps off both my Weihrauch’s just so I can put the safety on or off as many times as I want and also this lets me de-cock the rifle as well but I never ever let go of the cocking arm when loading. I just have to emphasise that fact to anyone picking up my gun.

@@theGunLockerlots of Weihrauch stocks are also made by Minnelli and lots of other manufacturers use Lothar Walther barrels, it’s fairly normal practise in manufacturing all round. I’ve owned a TX200 carbine and a Pro Sport in the past and currently own a HW97K .22 in a beach sportier stock and a HW95K .177 also in a beach sporter stock. All are superbly accurate, far more so than most shooters. Getting the best out of a springer requires a good technique.

Just an observation but you didn’t touch on how twangy the HW97 or 77 are out of the box compared with the tx, nor did you touch on the fact that with very limited tools you can strip the tx200 in the field or the fact that the tx200 doesn’t have to remove the scope when you strip it so you don’t lose zero, you can change the main spring or add and remove power washers in less than 10 minutes anywhere and be back shooting immediately or the fact that the tx200 is also running on Delrin But I get you prefer the HW’s to be fair to each their own I’ve got all and love all three of them wouldn’t bash any. Without the HW77 the HW97 and TX200 would never have been made the HW77 is a legend from 1983 and a real blast from the past, that is still relevant today.

There is sod all difference in accuracy between the tx and the 77/97 fact. You can't rest the front of the gun like that and you can't grip the rifle at all they don't like it!. The shot cycle on the tx is slightly slower than the 77 which is why a soft hold is required. As far as cooking is concerned the full length version is far easier.

In all reviews I have seen so far give the HW 97K and the TX200 as equivalent rifles as far as the accuracy is concerned. All reviews I see point out the fact that, in order to take it apart, one needs to remove the scope on the HW while on the TX it is not necessary and would lead to quicker, no hassle, maintenance. Both rifles have a ton of tuning possibilities out there. Both seem to be superb rifles.

The tx200 was my second choice on my shortlist behind the hw90k, I was unsure about the cocking mechanism and you have just confirmed that it looks to be a pain and as you pointed would become tiring quite quickly. It's about time AA came out with a break barrel rifle.

Cocking these rifles is easy, it's just about giving it enough power and going all the way back in one motion. More of a knack to it than anything else. Agreed,kids and ladies might struggle.

Bought a second hand TX hc a couple of months ago,first few times of use I could not get it to group even after using a wide range of quality pellets. I persevered,using a very light hold and a Caldwell rest,and my groups were very good at 30 yards,I also have a Prosport in the same .177 calibre,which I believe has the same internals,and I can hold it loosely or a vice like grip and it still shoots accurately! I guess it's finding out what each individual rifle likes and adapting to the gun. I do prefer the HW97k and the HW 77k to shoot,but prefer the Air Arms trigger,I found the Weihrauch rifles to be easier to cock,load and shoot,but that is just my opinion,AA are quality guns,no mistake.

Well. Short barrel on a springer isn't a bad idea, actually it's a very good idea. There is a reason why Theoben made an 8" barrel airgun ;) As for TX vs HW97/77 both systems are very accurate, both have a great triggers. AA is way easier to service on your own, HW is cheaper.

I was going to say the same thing. People get the idea that a longer barrel is better and for PCP's this is true in most cases. Springers don't have much air volume so they only need a barrel that allows them to reach max velocity. The faster the pellet is out of the barrel the less effect the spring recoil will have. As far as accuracy I fail to see an advantage. The barrel being in the shroud works the same as a long barrel when it comes to making it easier to point and stay on target. Open sights will have an advantage with a longer barrel because the father the 2 sights are the better for aiming.

I picked up a mint HW97KT in .177. My lad is left handed and left eye dominant. I sold my walnut TX200hc .177. The HW is twangy and average by comparison as standard. The TX would shoot ½" groups at 45 yrds with always less than 5 FPS spread just sub 12. I'd choose the AA every time in 2024. Paid £375 for the HW which is what I would value at new.

Interesting evaluation of a 2nd hand rifle. You was concerned about the accuracy with the moderator fitted; did you fit the plastic plug that comes with the TX200 when you removed the moderator? This plastic plug forms part of the AA design to reduce noise, it has an elongated tube of about 50mm that sits in the end of the shroud close to the barrel end; My TX200 HC gives a consistent 80db at 1mtr from the muzzle. This could indeed affect the accuracy of the rifle as well, and may be a good reason to carry out further tests. I have another observation of your testing that causes concern; All of your accuracy tests show POI off to the right, indicating a poor zero with your chosen test pellet, also you cannot review a trigger mechanism if you are not prepared to adjust it to suit your preference, after all these are designed to be adjusted by the user and should not be marked down because of not wanting to adjust. I do enjoy your reviews in general and you have a good presence, but you will need to get some fundamental rules for conducting testing that embraces the design characteristics of each rifle. For the record, I have rifles from many manufacturers, including AA, Weihrauch, Brocock, BSA. Keep up the reviews and have a very good New Year.

The zeroing of the scope...that was down to me and trying to get some footage before light failed. It was close enough to make adjustments in hold and get a general idea. Let's not forget that POI was between 4mm and 11mm from centre of red cross at 30m. That said, thanks for taking the time to comment and a Happy New Year to you to.

Thank you for your review. It's nice and in depth, which is how they should be. You are, however, basing your scores and forming your (slightly biased) opinions based on this singular TX200hc that you've borrowed for a short period of time. I do understand this, as you won't have the time or the means to test several different rifles extensively, which is the only way to reach a fair conclusive result. I would also never have tested it with the moderator on, as you can get massively different results, depending on what moderator you use, and this is not how they're intended to be shot, so when you removed it, you should have left it off for the testing, or done the full test both ways. Also, I know people have said to you in the past about your hold being wrong, which I don't completely agree with, if it's how you feel works for you, however, if you want to get the best out of a rifle, you need to experiment with the hold, as every rifle prefers to be held a different way. You might argue that Air Arms being so hold sensitive is a negative, but most people don't switch between riffles all the time like you do, and instead, invest the time and effort to learn their rifles, to get the best out of them. I think your video is proof of this, as your first group with the JSB Exacts is considerably better than your second attempt with them and on your second attempt, you were resting the rifle about 3 inches further forward on that hard rest. Finding the right pellet for the barrel is also very important and seen as though two of your chosen test pellets were 10.65gr, when springers generally prefer lighter pellets, you didn't really give it a fair chance. You would have been better off trying some different head sized JSB Exacts or some RWS Super Fields or something similar. Also, a shorter barrel doesn't mean less accuracy at all, that's just simply not true. With regards to cocking the rifle, you need to be a bit more forceful with it, it's well made, it won't break. If you find it too difficult, then the carbine version isn't for you and you would be better suited to the full length version. I personally find the HC version fine to Cock and at 70kg and 5ft 9in, I'm not exactly the biggest bloke in the world. You can also use the safety indicator to check if it's fully cocked. As for the trigger, once adjusted (which yours clearly needs) I find it to be on par with the record trigger. Just to be clear, I own both Air Arms and Weihrauch springers and love them all, but before tuning my Weihrauch rifles, they were nowhere near the standard that my TX200hc was straight out of the box. So from my experience, the Air Arms wins hands down from new, but once the Weihrauchs have had a couple of hundred spent on tuning, they are roughly equal. I would never say that one brand is better than the other, based on the small amount of data that I've gathered. What I will say with absolute certainty, is that Air Arms rifles come from the factory better tuned than the Weihrauch rifles do, which is where some of the extra money goes. These comments aren't meant as a dig at you, I just wanted to point out some things, as people may be making decisions based on your videos and some of the data you're giving and showing is just not true, whether it be by mistake or not. If you get the chance in the future, I would strongly suggest trying to get yourself a new TX200 to try out, as you never know what's been done to this one or how it's been maintained over the years. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised if you do. I hope you don't take these comments the wrong way, as I do enjoy watching your videos and thank you for taking the time to produce them. Hi, I agree with you on the effort to cock the rifle and to cock fully. I can say however you do get used to it. I have had my TX200hc for a couple of months now and as a target 25m shooter can honestly say it is quite sensitive to hold and what rest you use. It is extremely accurate with AA or JSB 8.44 pellets but only using the artillery hold and on a softish front bag. Without using the artillery hold on a hard rest it is all over the place. I think as you say your shooting style suits the HW77 better.

I have a HW 97, a TX200HC and a full length TX200 ultimate springer. The HW97 is a bit twangy, the TX200HC is hard to cock but the full length TX is just right🙂

Your ergonomics score is wrong in my opinion. AA make both left and right hand models of this rifle. If you are left handed you buy the left handed model, if you're right handed you buy the right hand model, simple. They make these dedicated rifles for a good reason, they are simply more tailored to you. I do enjoy your videos but I think your shooting rest could be vastly improved upon for shooting springers with looking at your shooting style.

The true definition is how adaptable an object is to the user after they have acquired it, and not the design process in creating it. Think FX and how adaptable their air rifles are. The arca rails, the fully adjustable butts, the interchangeable barrels / liners, interchangeable grips, ability to add weight, harmonizing, the ability to increase air capacity, etc. That's ergonomics. Out of the box for me goes to the TX and only because of the set back trigger and slightly less twang. After professional tuning not much in it and both seriously good. With some stock mods (hamster etc) I prefer the HW90 gas ram, no tuning necessary.

Early tx’s had rekord triggers( yes I saw one in the flesh) and the firepower-khamsin series action used hammerli barrels. I find the tx AB is nothing but a pain however working on a tx is a pleasure and much easier to strip.

I own two weihrauch k97 one standard and one thumb hole synthetic and the tx200 hc and the accuracy is superb this shooting was so unfair I also have the pro sport witch is a absolutely fantastic masterpiece

hello Mark , i suggest that you shoot from a bag with a sand filling . a heavy one is the best . that keeps the gun steady and the recoil can get parallel , a airsbag under the sholder stock also needed. i do not think you can not shoot ,but every springer is different and some dont bother how the hold is but others shoot like shit . try a hatsan 135 carnivore .30 on a hard rest that will tell you yours peter ps i like also the hw 77/97 better then the airarms , the airarms is more luxe, but that shoots not better

Hi I own AA TX in both.177 and .22 plus HW 97 my favourite is the TX in .22 I had the same issue with the last bit of cocking stroke not engaging the safety catch easy cure was take out the front pin of cocking lever and a couple of strokes with a file on the elbow were the pin goes through as for you saying that the gun was very loud you did not have a plastic plenum in the end were you unscrewed the silencer this plastic plenum is supplied with the gun when new also the did not mention that the TX can be de cocked you can’t de cock the HW . I find that the TX seems more refined than the HW I have never found the cocking effort a problem just saying 😜. By the way love your reviews many thanks

Hi, my first comment on your videos which i enjoy watching, have not subscribed yet but will do after typing this, i have around 40 air rifles, honestly lost count 😅, I love the 77 and 97, and the TX and Prosport. These rifles are all capable of shooting identical groups, your grouping on this video is not impressive, what i can say is the pellets you used are mainly not great, even head size is vitality important for each and every barrel, with the right pellet and a more stable platform i guarantee you would get grouping as good as any PC, obviously one has to master every rifle, they all shoot different. Yeah the loading on HWs is much much easier and cocking the TX carbine is not as easy as the longer brother. Keep up with the videos, don't agree with everything you say but hey its all very subjective. Always entertaining and people must realise the gun you checkout is not the gun they own.

Great video, I shoot a TX rifle in .177 as standard it was great I've now had a Tony Leach 21mm conversion it will easily rival a pcp out to 45yds using jsb exact 4.51. I agree with the cocking not being as smooth as a HW77K as I shoot one of those aswell, which do I prefer? At the moment the HW77K just because the cocking is smoother, regarding the trigger I prefer the TX 👍

you may have a bad tx200 ? ive got a tx 200, hw 77 and hw97 among other guns. had them all from new and i find the tx200 easer to cock, but i do understand having to fully cock the gun but it has never caused me a problem. when the triggers are set up correctly they are excellent . For me when they are both set up correctly there's not alot between them and i would rate my tx slightly higher. Im not a hw hater i own 6 of them

barrel lenght . at some point you do not can get more speed in a barrel. . a shorttest barrel is more stabil and less swinging . thats good . and in breakbarrels its adding the barrellocking system . a long heavy barrel is not as good staying closed . long ago i must look at a hw 35 and tune it ,(no output restriction ) and discovered that a 3/5 the pellet was not contacting the barrel , so i shorten the barrel new crown not only the accuracy was top the output energy also , it wass tuned to 19 joule and then it was 21 in 22 cal

Hi @peteralexben...I agree to a certain extent especially regards power loss as it makes sense that the longer the pellet is in the barrel the more energy is used to expel it. But you also need enough length to stabilize the projectile in flight and that comes down to twist rate as well. There is a fine balance between the two. You only have to look at FX and the numerous barrel / liner combinations that they offer. Barrels up to 800mm in length...take a look at the Panthera. My tx preferred pellet is jsb heavy’s 10.34. the shot cycle seems more smoother to me with thease ,mines better with the mod on reduces muzzle flip,and the gun or any springer I’ve shot seems most accurate when not shot in quick concession,10 shots max then rest it I put it down to heat build up but when I’m on form the gun will match any pcp I’ve shot to 35 yards.keep with it and it will win you over but it can frustrate you for sure.

After 5 years of owning the TX200 (not HC) and putting around 5000 shots through it, as well as watching many, many reviews, I have never seen anyone make such an ordeal of cocking it and being accurate with it. I feel like your frustration with your own ability to cock it may have affected your accuracy. You were visibly rattled, even when you forgot to take the safety off. Do you have a problem with your arm / shoulder? Was there a reason you wasn't just pulling it till it stopped? Have you tried others to make sure it isn't an issue with that particular rifle? This whole thing just seemed farcical.

Hi @philipwelsh1862...at the end of the day, it's my opinion and you are welcome to your own. The point I'm trying to make about using parts from other manufacturers does not relate to quality. In truth and more often than not, they are far better quality than the original manufacturer can produce himself. The point I'm trying to make is that far too many people say that the gun is made in the UK, when in truth, it is assembled in the UK. Casing point, there's a review just been posted about the BSA R12 Cayenne and the reviewer raves about the stock because he believes it to be beautiful. the stock is made by Minelli, an Italian company. And they are beautiful stocks, but they're not made in the UK or "Good old blighty" as the reviewer likes to call it. And when it comes down to preference between the TX200HC or the HW77K, I prefer the HW77K on which the TX200 was originally modelled in 1991. The HW77 was first introduced in 1983. You can call as many gun shops as you like, but it won't change my opinion, and whose to say the people you spoke to are springer shooters, most nowadays prefer PCPs. I went straight from the pellet test to the accuracy test without re-zeroing the scope. I was holding under and slightly to the left. Problem was I could feel my heart beat and that was affecting my shooting. Too much rich food over Christmas. That said you're right! Thanks for watching, and taking the time to post.
