Ya, just took AC to taipei. Very happy with the food! No complaints at all. Don't fly that much but last year to London with no food at all on Westjet was too long. Nice to have meals included even with the seat sale I paid on AC. Kinda breaks up a long flight too.

Will be flying with my son on one of these from Toronto to Tokyo when he graduates high school next spring. Will be my first time on air Canada. My son flew one of these from Paris to Toronto this past summer. He liked it but liked the 787 dreamliner more (his outbound flight) from Toronto to Vienna. Not sure how I'll be on a 13 hour flight in economy...bring on the Tylenol PM and red wine.😀

I flied with air Canada with the 787, I never took the 777, I am surprised of the 3-4-3 configuration of Air Canada, it shouldn´t be comfortable.

Don't worry the chicken definitely tastes better than how it looks. I tried it just a couple months ago on the same flight except on a Boeing 767-300ER instead of the 777-300ER.

I think the raccoon livery looks ridiculous and pretentious! Air Canada gives complimentary meals on international flights, and no pre meal beverage service. No excuse for that on such a long flight. They seem to be proud of this, and of the fact that their service falls behind every other transatlantic carrier on this score. Apart from that, thanks for the informative and detailed trip report!
