I thought you were also supposed to put it in the footwell but after speaking to a Mercedes dealership they say it will spray all over the carpet and upholstery. They said they don't use such one off devices but a professional deodoriser and sanitiser but recommend it goes in the centre console well away from the dash. The recirculate should do its magic.

It's generally better to leave it in the footwell near to the A/C recirculation vent.

Interesting. These cans usually have a direction for use on them and they say to move the passenger seat as forward as possible, right the back upwards and place the can BEHIND the passanger seat. That's what's written on these cans.

I think your meant to put it on the floor on the passenger side and point it towards the AC cabin air cycle vent. But if it works good stuff.

It's meant to be in the passenger foot well not in the centre console

No,the whole point is you set the aircon on full and recirculate and most say put it in the passenger footwell because thats where most cars suck their air into the unit when on recirculation and so the cleaner is being constantly sucked in blown out and sucked in aagin in a cycle.With regards to what mercedes say,it will only leave residue if you put it really close to the front panels just like any type of spray would.They just want you to pay them to do it for you at no doubt a ridiculous price
