Early the next morning they’re off to the Port of LA for Luftgekühlt 8, the pinnacle of Porsche events and a celebration of all things air-cooled.

Didn't lexani buy Kinesis at one point from Peter Stacey after he'd merged etoile with kinesis? Anyway, kinesis wheels unless original are terrible quality from what I've seen 🤷🏻‍♂️

@@patrikpolda Here in the US there are maybe 5 total car models that are sold with a 5x108 oem bolt pattern. I had a Focus ST which is more European than American, and my options were very limited unless I custom ordered, re-drilled, or ran adapter spacers.

I just mean that broadly, the fact that there’s been this deeper focus on VW, Porsche, and Audi, my 3 favorite brands, means a lot to me. Back in the early 2000s at the shop that built our e36 (ICS in Stamford CT) there was a turbo m3 on kinesis wheels. They looked so good. That car was the original big hp e36 build, made 7-800whp .

I’m with Brian. 959 Turbo and F40 were the two cars for me as a kid. The F40 always had the edge and has probably become my favourite. The 959 though, once you start looking you realise it’s much more than just a wide 911.

I was 13 or 14 when Paul Walker died in the Carrera GT, and I held a vendetta against all Porsches for a few years after that. But now I’m 21 and theyre honestly my favorite cars, and I would kill for a 996 GT3. I’d probably still pass on driving a Carrera GT if given the opportunity though.
