Its very old vintage car all the brake lines will break eventually. I would replace all of them before they go at a inopportune time. Especially I would replace all rubber lines but the regular steel ones suck anyway too. New steel braided break lines add another 10 horse power.
@DuckmanCycles5 жыл бұрын
They have already been replaced, it was the first thing I did when I got the car... the only one that didn't get replaced was the one that I replaced with a stainless steel self-manufactured line in the last video.

What happened to Eleanor
@DuckmanCycles5 жыл бұрын
In 2004 Hurricane Ivan ravaged Pensacola, Eleanore lived near the water with her original owner. The sea water rose and flooded the car and it sat there under about 6 feet of it for a few days. Then the previous owner left the car outside for another 10 years and the weather just obliterated it.

Hey man here’s a odd question. I’m installing a brand new carb and a new distributor on my volksrod. Should I set the timing first and then adjust the idle? Also after I adjust the idle should I check my timing again. I’m setting my timing at 10 def at idle.
@DuckmanCycles5 жыл бұрын
Yes, set timing, then idle! Make sure your max advance is proper, not all distributors wind back to the norm 7.5BTDC at idle and that will affect idle speed. You can then fine tune idle at the carb. Hope that helps! Thanks for question!
